Last year was just an anomaly. Arsenal are a far bigger and more successful club than Leicester and always will be. They haven't won too much in the last few years but they are CL regulars.

Of course he would be bettering himself by leaving Leicester to go to Arsenal.

Shame Kante is off to Chelsea, I really like him. He'll be a big player for them next season.

Seriously? If you were a footballer and you were offered the chance to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world you'd say "nah, I'm not good enough to play at that level. I'll just stay where I am"?

The days of club legends are long gone then.

Club legends? I don't think a guy born in France and who didn't even know who Leicester were when they wanted to sign him two years ago (he thought they were a rugby club for some reason) is really old-school club legend material.

He was part of the side that won the league, that's more than enough to write him into Leicester history.

So no one can go to a club and know nothing of their values, traditions etc make a connection and stay to try to move the club up the ladder. One season of glory then ach * it they'll get relegated this year. I know I'll never win this argument. I just hate things like that. Abandon ship it's seemed like.

It works both ways though, doesn't it? If he'd been * or injured a lot they'd have punted him without a second thought, and rightfully so.

He's moving on to a bigger club, which brings bigger challenges. No fault in that.

And with that I'll just abandon making any more comments about it.

As good as Leicester were last year any of those players, barring perhaps Vardy would still jump at a move to Arsenal or Liverpool even though they have done * all for years. The likes of which are massive clubs in world football who can still pay a lot more money.

You have to say that unfortunately, what happened last season was a flash in the pan.

Would be a good signing for them, quite unsettled at Bayern and they probably would let him go for not too much.

Dortmund fans aren't too favourable toward him though...

I think it's a shame that Leicester could be picked apart by the big clubs. They couldn't have done any more in terms of what they did on the pitch. They're the EPL champions and a top seed for this seasons CL.

I understand that Mahrez could get more money at a more established big club, but I would've liked to see them keep the core of their team together for just one or two more seasons. Their 'story' doesn't have to end now.

Vardy may regret not joining Arsenal.

Kante away and Mahrez looking likely.

Won't Leicester get big money for their players? It should help them get decent replacements if not quite the same. They are a CL team now so they should be able to afford and attract good quality.

I think the owners are going to pump some cash into the team too.

Didn't Leicester give Vardy the same wages Arsenal were offering?

Check this BBC headline from May 2014.

How mental that would have seemed back then.
