I'm not disrespecting the guy at all, he's an absolute monster at what he does.
I'm just one of those people that believe that footballers who get paid all that dough then should have no complaints at playing 70+ games a year.

Xavi hasn't moaned about it, and probably outta alot of pro's deserves getting a good wee wage in Qatar for being in Holiday mode and winding down his career.

Just saying that that when people say oh he played 80 games this year on anything over £20,000 a week, the guy is easily looked after.

Really that's all you took from that
Just saying that any footballer that shall end up averaging £20k-£70K per week over his career after tax in their career should be able to handle 2 games a week.

Xavi should just really retire tbh, but don't grudge on him for exploiting a multi million deal in Qatar.

I'm not sure that the wages earned by a player can really correlate to how much football he can play. It's not as if being paid more makes your muscles or bones any stronger, does it?

As some have said, if he'd wanted to he could probably have made a move to an upper level team in the EPL or elsewhere in Europe such as Italy or France. He isn't past it by any means.

He obviously fancies the money available in Qatar, and the relaxed lifestyle he and his family will no doubt enjoy there.

Also the fact he will be known as a one man club, no one is taking note off this team he will be playing for in Qatar

At the start he wanted £7/7.5Million a year Bayern decided no, they upped it to his wishes but he's came out & said their no closer to a deal. Pep & Bayern don't want to get into dealings with Real Madrid so Kroos has suggested he'll walk for free if he isn't sold, he wants Madrid himself. £8million a year they've offered

Reports going about that Falcao has joined Real Madrid and the transfer will be announced after the world cup, only joined Monaco as he couldn't jump ship straight to Real Madrid from Atletico because of a gentlemen agreement between both clubs

MM I'm not sure I believe the rumour. Seen it myself and I knew about the no Madrid straight away thing but at 29 and with an injury - he isn't worth £50m.

The exact same rumour was going around about Aguero when he signed for Man City.

I'd rather Suarez, Messi and Neymar personally. What a front 3 both are though regardless, my word.

I'm not a massive fan of him, but I hope we can see the best of Neymar at Barca next season.

Wouldn't drop Iniesta out the side for either of Rakitic or Kroos just yet. Don't think Barca would either.

Trust me on this one Suarez is going nowhere. He told Liverpool fans at player of year dance that he's staying and even if he wanted to go the owners won't sell him as they showed last year when arsenal met his buy out clause.

If Suarez is still at Liverpool by the 1st of September I'll run around my town naked.

    He'll be gone.

He may leave Liverpool, but there's not a hope in * they sell him to another English club.

    Not a chance.
