    £27m on Fellaini is comical.

Excellent bit of business for Arsenal though, bringing in Özil

That's shocking. Reminds me of a comment on SSN about Marquinhos...

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/...s-psg-confirm-capture-of-marquinhos-from-roma

"Its funny to see how quiet Mr Platini is when these French clubs spend all this money. If it was an english club he wouldnt shut up"

Oh aye, like Platini has complained about the £300m million spent by English clubs than clubs in any other league :87:

The money being banded about by Sky means this will only continue...it'll get to the stage where European clubs simply won't trade with English clubs because of the insane money being banded about that they just can't compete with.

You have to think the money's going to run dry eventually and the bubble's going to burst.

They almost get excited about breaking these horrendous transfer records. Embarrassing.

I * hate what football has become. Sky Sports creaming themselves over these deals all day yesterday, * Big Ben going to signal the end of the window.

    Absolutely pathetic.

Funny how English clubs can spend double or more than the other top countries and still fail to beat them all in europe!

Net spend England (£400m), France (£130M), Germany (£50m).

But profit for Spain (£95m) & Italy (£10m).

Real Madrid always do this. They draw up a shortlist of some of the best talents and see how they do. They once had Steven Fletcher on their list of top 10 ones to watch.

"Evil has come to Tottenham, as Paulinho starts to stroke the interest of Europe's other biggest clubs. According to the British newspaper "Metro" Real Madrid have put the Brazilian international on their list for the future and will be able to make a offer in the next transfer window. The playmaker is currently with the Brazil squad for the friendlies against South Korea and Zambia.'

'The player who has excelled under the direction of André Villas-Boas is seen as replacement for Xabi Alonso. The playmaking Spaniard is in the last year of his contract and had rejected offers of a renewal. Liverpool would be one of the likely destinations for the Real Madrid number 14."

    Hope that's not true.

Although what a signing it would be for Barca, fantastic defender.
