Cutting out the 'deadwood' so to speak, that midfield is fantastic.

If they were to sign Soldad, for instance, from midfield on they could set up:

    -------Sandro-------
    Paulinho------ Dembele

    Chadli----------Bale
    -------Soldado------

    First class.

They can play an excellent narrow diamond with Sandro holding, Dembele and Paulinho shutting, and Bale at the tip.

Or, 2 holding (Paulinho/Sandro) with Bale and Lennon/Holtby wide. Incredible options.

Internacional have completed the signing of Ignacio Scocco from Newell's Old Boys for €5.3 million. Scocco was joint top soccer in Argentina last year scoring 13 goals and helped his team win the 2013 Torneo Final championship and as of now (with one game left) is joint top scorer in the Copa Libertadores with 6 goals. This year he has scored 11 goals for Newell's in the league. He is a good replacement for when Leandro Damião leaves after the World Cup.

They have also brought back fan favourite Alex (not the Chelsea/PSG one) to the Beira-Rio.

It's one thing to have a good midfield, firstly they need a decent striker.

"If Al-Rayyan can keep Nilmar, we can keep Leandro Damiao, even if there is a big offer. It's silly to sell Leandro Damiao this year, he has the chance to play the World Cup and improve at a personal and professional level. We are confident and we understand that he can wait another year, play the World Cup, increase his value with the national team and then be transferred and have other opportunities." - All from the mouth of club president Luis Cesar S. Moura

    Unlucky Spurs.

Palmeiras right-back Welder set to join Sporting Lisbon.

Palmeiras right-back Welder is very close to joining Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon, according to reports in Brazil and Portugal.

Welder will be loaned to Sporting Lisbon for a season, Sporting Lisbon will have an option to buy him once the loan deal is over.

Kinda of a sign where Sporting are right now. Going after Weldinho, a guy who can't even get into the starting eleven at a second division side (albeit a giant that should never have falling so far).

This guy is far from pish. He is a fantastic prospect and Internacional are going to profit big time off him.

He is a tall guy, powerful, quick, great on and off the ball and is a clinical finisher with his head and feet. He is over 6,0 foot tall which will be useful in the Prem, but to go with that famous cliché he has a good touch for a big man and can travel at speed. Good hold up play will also be good in the Prem. He can read the game well, make superb runs into space and to draw defenders away. There are very few down sides to his game that I can see. Maybe a bit injury prone.

2011, he got 38 goals in 51 games. 2012, he got 24 in 43 games

YouTube can make anyone look good but this guy is the real deal :50:

Ive seen him playing for Brazil a few times and he looks more like Darren Bent than Higuain.

He has never played in a competitive match for the Seleção. Only friendly games going back to the 2 - 0 win against Scotland which I think is part of the reason he has never taking his Internacional form to the national side.

Aye, and imagine Classico's with top class football in it again, as opposed to the nonsense Mourinho brought with him and that seemed to surround him where ever here goes.

They'll certainly be some team next year.
