This is one of the most deluded posts i have seen.

A straight swap for Mata would be reasonable.

 

It would but fact is he would be moving to a main title rival , Rooney would score 30 goals easy for Chelsea as main striker could = title . Chelsea want him badly so screw everything you can out them.

 

Mata would be immense for Man U, just as he has been for Chelsea. Scores goals, creates and would link up with the rest of the team.

Crazy to knock it back, then again it's crazy to offer him as part of a swap deal (if true).

 

Chelsea fans would be livid if they sold mata.

Why is he ? this is not football manager the manager has no say in how much cash a player is bought or sold for .

I think 20 million + mata is a fair deal

 

In the current market, Mata is comfortably worth over £30 million. Rooney is not a £50 million+ player. Not even close.

Totally disagree. Mata was one of the best players in the league last season, and comfortably Chelsea's best. The fact Utd supposedly rejected this bid is mental. Don't know what's worse, Chelsea making the bid in the first place, or Man Utd rejecting it.

should be utd paying Chelsea £10m plus rooney for mata, mata is a far better player and anyone who cant see that knows * all about football.

 

Based on last season mata was the better player but the prior season playing as the main striker for utd rooney scored 34 goals in all completions so chelsea might see it as if they provide rooney the service he'll guarantee them a real chance at winning the EPL, cause right now with torres and ba chelsea are destined for 3rd or 4th, plus rooney is still arguably the biggest name in english football.
