Right folks, following a few suggestions from members in the Kyogo thread of how it doesn’t quite sit right having his thread unceremoniously dumped into ‘ex players’ like a recycle bin today, it’s been decided we’re going to have a separate section within Celtic Chat for those ex players and managers that have passed through Parkhead’s gates and left an indelible mark on us as fans by their contributions in the hoops.
This thread is for members to post their suggestions on who the first 10 will be to enter the TC Hall of Fame. When we’ve got enough suggestions together, we’ll post a Poll and start transferring their individual threads into this new section when the results are in. This will then hopefully grow organically as time moves on and will also hopefully lead to some healthy debates on who is and who isn’t either an iconic or legendary Celt, bringing back memories and thoughts of our own favourites through the years.
You can post 1 suggestion all the way up to your 10, doesn’t matter and we’ll be able to get a general consensus. Remember that this is only the first ones to go in, we can poll members on individual players moving forward which will hopefully spark conversation and occupy us during international breaks and pre-season!
Also an important point to note, this isn’t the greatest ever 10 Celts debate or greatest ever team or managers which have been done numerous times over. Just your own personal favourite iconic hero’s or legends :shamrock:

Outstanding folks, great idea this :50:
Since the announcement was today I'd like to put Kyogo forward as my first suggestion. Wee man was absolutely phenomenal for us at a time we really needed it, definitely deserves his place among Celtic icons.
Also want to suggest the majestic big Tam Rogic. -

Paul, I'm a bit confused: are we only allowed to post 1 suggestion or 10?

Be nice for just one thread on here to stay true to it's original intentions without descending into farce.

Not exactly disappointed but when I saw TC Hall of Fame was expecting Mevin, sonic attacks and paolo's feckin mad dream-prediction of the Boston bombings.

OK, seems like 10 from what others are posting. I want to nominate only players from the time I've been a fan (e.g. no Lions) who I still love (e.g, no DiCanio in spite of what a great player he was).
In order of how legendary I consider them:
Larsson, Moravcik, McStay, Nakamura, Boruc, Sutton, Mjallby, Broony, Forster, Collins.
