Yeah but towards the end of the season it was me that was gloating about the state their in has kept him pretty quiet.

Wasn't that a ruse to find out who the dressing room mole was? the story I heard was that they suspected Danny Fox so only he was told Brown was leaving, sure enough the next day it's all over the Daily Ranger.

It would also explain why he was moved on so quickly.

All this aside, I wouldn't turn my nose up at him signing for us regardless of who he is or who he supports, he can score goals, be it against diddy teams, its still more than we seem to manage at times.

What if they're correct..

 

Even if they were correct (and in a way there would be something wrong with our club if our scouting team/management flat out refused to consider Boyd), I sincerely doubt Lawwell is going to go back on his very public words.

Did we really look at Boyd? (Probably yes)
Did we approach to sign him? (possibly informal approach, probably no)
Did we formally approach to sign him? (Undoubtedly no)
Is the Sun wrong and now look like idiots? (Yes)

rumour is boyd is staying at rangers...new 2 year deal. Confirmed shortly.

 

I heard something about this aswell. Looking at this it would seem he's staying for another season then move, that way they will get a fee for him.

 

The whole thing looks a bit weird to me. is it usual that Celtic put stuff on their website to deny transfer rumours? have to admit, I don't check the site very often, but can't remember when it happened the last time.

Also the sun's reaction is strange. looking for a reaction they are, surely?

 

Yeah best thing Celtic can do is ignore it they have already denied it so they don't need to do anything else.Let the sun throw their hissy fit just because they got another exclusive wrong eventually they'll have to shut up about it.Had to laugh though the sun are now calling it Boydgate as if it's some huge saga
