It's good Ronny is showing he's willing to experiment. I think if Cole is given more time he'll prove to be a decent player for us, he looks eager and I think it will gives Griffiths more room to play in plus our midfielders will have options whether to cross or pass. That assist by Bitton is a good example.

Not saying we should play 2 up front all the time cause of a win against Stranraer but it's something we should employ more in training so we have an alternative.

One of the weirdest things I've ever seen on this forum.

We've had loads of good away performances in the last few years. As Daleer said, no remember we pumped Hearts 7-0?

What I'm saying is I don't know what to expect from Celtic. Maybe you people have lower expectations than me? I watch Barcelona and Real Madrid and see them take the Micky out of lower ranked opposition. The gulf is so big that I would expect Celic to have the quality to do this too.

The thing is though, we no longer have the quality of Nakamura, McGeady, JVOH, Samaras which is down to the incompetence of the board.

Some games we need 442 other games we need 3 in the middle, Ronny definitely needs to witch between the two. I think Ciftci and Griffiths would be a great partnership as well.

:smiley-laughing002: he's pish. If he scored 10 goals for us, I'm sure everyone would be ecstatic and surprised at same time. For a striker, that's a damning thought.
    He's pish.

Good point, could switch to 4-4-2 with Cole coming on as a sub in games where we're struggling to break down stubborn defences.

    post match interview

RD: 'It was a very good performance. It's always tough to go away early in the cup as there is everything to lose.'

RD: 'We have been through it before but today we did it in a good way. We were poor in the first five mins but after that we controlled it.'

RD: 'We created chances and put in a really good performance.'

RD: 'Their keeper did well and saved a lot of opportunities. It was good for us he didn't stop everything.'

RD: 'I thought Cole did okay. He played well with Leigh. They scored three together so I can't be irritated about that.'

RD on @CarltonCole1: 'You can see he's experienced and knows how to score.'

RD on @Leighgriff09: 'Maybe he needed some days off as it has been a lot of games for him.'

RD: 'I'm happy for Carlton scoring as it means not everything is on Leigh's shoulders.'

RD: '@Leighgriff09 is important for us. He scores goals and works really hard for the team as well.'

RD on @Leighgriff09: 'He is my dream striker.' (NM)

Gets a pass mark from me due to the implementation of something that is NOT 4-2-3-1.

Said this earlier to the mate, griff wouldnt have scored that goal if cole was not up there with him, the first 1, cole pulled the cb towards him, the attacking play in the final 3rd was night and day to what it has been the team looked very comfortable in the 4-4-2

Just hope he * sticks to it now :50:

Straight 4-4-2 mate cole and griff up top, a think we looked much better than in recent weeks but it was against weak opposition so hard to tell but a thought we passed it well and looked decent/dangerous in the final 3rd:50:
