I agree with the fact the board are at fault for the calibre of player we have, but even at that, they are decent enough to beat Molde and Ajax for that matter.

What is wrong with the performances we see in Europe is the managers fault. The defensive setup is completely wrong and does us EVERY time. Not for a lack of scoring do we lose in Europe this season, it is defense. Managers fault.

I'm a big fan and wanted to see Deila do well, but enough is enough. He isn't learning, he isn't changing the issues the team has while on the park.

At one point we had SIX players defending in our own six yard box for a corner. They had one attacker there. 6 players to defend against 1. 6!!!!
That left another 9 of their players against 5 of ours. Zonal marking, the big teams have all sussed it out about us. They don't come in to the 6 yard box any more, happy to have 3 or 4 players hang back at the penalty spot line, happy to wait for the cross to come in and fall at the back, and attack. Happy for us to * up. Then attack.
They are happy for us to have the ball, passing it about the back four because they know we aren't pushing forward or looking to attack. But when they have the ball, they are going to break and beat half our team in to our own half. Then they know they are playing against defenders who are pish and out of position.

Every time in Europe this season. Manager can't see it, won't change it. Managers fault.

Anybody that thinks Boyata & Blackett are good enough to be the centre half pairing for Celtic, is obviously a bit out of his depth. He's bring in Stromgodset quality signings for a team who should be on another level.

    1. The Rangers/sevco wont give us any competition, they are broke and * and an even bigger laughing stock than us.

    2. SPL has always been * but we still managed to compete and beat the top teams in Europe.

    3. Delia is a * manager to be fair and brought us down to Norwegian mid table level, hes not solely to blame mind..

    4. Club needs changed from top to bottom but Im not holding my breath.

    You're slabbering pal.

We are all allowed to expect better from our team, that's opinion.
Celtic should always be expecting to beat Molde - untill Molde go on to prove their worth in Europe, Celtic will always be expected to be better. On the night, we are not good enough though. And performance does not match expectations.
That is an issue, and for the most part is the managers fault. He simply is not good enough for European football.

I'm past caring whether Ronny stays or goes. My bigger concern is that Team. It's my own fault. I was brought up watching the Bhoys in the 60's and honestly, the remaining Lisbon Lions with a few others stopped on the street could beat that lot tonight.....but then if you play guys costing less than £1m or who a few months ago were playing in EPL reserves, you get what we got. We are a great SPFL Team, no more and no less, which says as much about Scottish Football as it does about us.

We swapped proven players for cheap as chips options ONCE AGAIN. I think the manager must have had a shoe string budget to build a defence again. I'm not sure about this. I'm no expert. I have no insider knowledge.

But I bet you that he had pennies.

Don't worry, i get it. The 'low posters' get targeted constant. Then people wonder why people stay away, or have low post counts.
You can usually smell a hun out quick enough.

It isn't unusual in life to see more people come out of the woodwork to have a gripe, especially when things are THIS bad. It's not exclusive to this forum, or Celtic or football in general, people just need a place to vent moreso when things go * up.

Certainly he has been hindered by the calibre of players we have signed and not having much in investment (jozo aside, still unknown). But the whole setup on game day is his doing. He sets up the zonal marking, he sets up the high full backs, he tells the team to pass the ball around the backline - not going for the counter attack. All our defensive * ups so far are tactical (with Ambrose thrown in for good measure). That backline isn't TERRIBLE, but it's made terrible by the way we set up.

Except he's proving, on a regular basis that he simply can't.

I hadn't voted in this poll until I was sure.

    I'm sure now.

    He needs to go.

He brought Boyata in early doors and I doubt John Park has been down watching Man U reserves.

Ronny is well known to have spent a lot of time in Manchester. Boyata was his signing and Blackett probably was as well.

It doesn't * matter though. He has had multiple defensive line ups this season and every one of them keeps making the same mistakes.

    Enough is enough.

    I still haven't. I will now though.

He cannot be trusted with another CL qualifying campaign.

He has no defensive nous whatsoever.

If it wasn't for a wet behind the ears left back it could have been 4-1 tonight.

    Just go Ronny.

So finally Sean you have had enough ?
Do you agree Boyata and Blackett have got to be the worse pairing ever?, even worse than Ambrose ?

That pairing tonight was the worst I have seen in my whole time watching Celtic.

I remember my first Celtic game from about 1985.
