Please explain how we let a two goal lead evaporate at Parkhead with Malmo.

And how we surrendered in Malmo without even a flicker of a fight, don't think we had one direct shot in at goal against Malmo, second leg.

Defence wasn't very 'makeshift' in my eyes. Gordon, Lustig, Boyata, Van Dijk and Izzy? How is that makeshift?

I was talking about the second game that we lost

Janko Boyata VvD Mulgrew was the line up.

How much game time have those 4 had together?

Exactly what I thought. However ILTC said something a couple of weeks ago that resonated - these teams are from nations that produce a far higher standard of player than Scotland. These teams will be filled with the sort of players we'd go for.

So Malmo probably has £2m-£3m rated players littered throughout their side. That is why they can spend less.

We have to spend and what we do spend on is *.

Aye but Lustig was injured, Efe had had a howler giving away a pen at Tannadice and many were happy with Mulgrew at left back (hindsight, it was terrible) as we needed height at the back. The two centre back's stayed the same, so it wasn't too much Ronny could've changed at the back..

If we had Lustig and Izzy playing, I still think they'd have put us out. We were shocking..

So why are we spending what little cash we have on players produced in Scotland?

    Yep, good point..

We aren't producing enough talent, as a country. The likes of Malmo probably have regular batches of talent coming through there own academy, meaning less to spend, plus cherry picking the best talent in Sweden, being top dogs. We do that in our own market, but the talent, on the whole, isn't as good as these smaller counties we're facing in the qualifiers who have talented national side's and always have very good technical player's coming through the ranks. Sweden under 21's just proved that. I'm sure 1 or 2 Malmo boy's were part of that winning side as well..

    Ronny speaks

Celtic TV just did an interview with him yesterday, it's available for non-subscribers and worth a watch:

The good thing is we now have the team that'll play right through till May 2017 because I can't see anyone being sold, only Blackett might go back. It's a great period for Celtic to get the team playing a solid system that might last a few years. This is exactly what Ronny and his team need right now, time, trust and a stable squad learning the same system.

Every team willl lose games but we seem to be losing our big ones. Aberdeen was a test and we were beat, Malmo psychologically beat us at home and statistically beat us away, tell me HOW you're working on it Ronny don't just say you are.

Being all in house, no doubt Ronny would have been shown the questions beforehand, so knew there were no curveballs. Indeed, I dare say there would have been considerable thought put into the wording of the questions also. Wouldn't have been surprised if there was a teleprompter close by so he could refer, hit the bullet points he was wanting to make in his answers.

The message itself is a good one, and considering that Celtic have these capabilities to connect with the fans direct, without having to rely on the 'fitba meeja', does have it's good points and it is good to see that this is what is happening here. One of the main positives is it means that the message is not twisted by whatever agenda those meeja hacks are promoting.

The one concern is so long as it is, when it needs to ask the tough questions that they are asked. Otherwise what is a viable means of communicating directly with the fans - which is noble and there should be more of it - we don't want to see become little more than propaganda exercises.

Hopefully the players take on-board what Ronny said in that interview the players should be right up for the Ajax game.
