Exactly we have let ourselves slip because of a stupid * policy and a manager who is locked into a system that often hinders us. Look at that game Stokes involved through the middle tearing it up Look at the center backs for Gods sake, mistakeovic and Rogne, arguably as bad as what we have now. There are real concerns, no doubt..

We've lost two important games, ok not ideal..

To sack a manager who had a successful first season after losing two games...

The current Aberdeen team wouldn't be far off taking 9 off that Aberdeen team just now.

 

I don't think he should be sacked but if he were it wouldn't be because of two games, it would be because he failed to get into the champions league last year even when given two shots at it and the fact that his signings haven't been that great apart from maybe armstrong.

 

Aye there are concerns defo..

Judge him after the EL campaign..

 

Thing is, player development can be cumulative if we do it right. One year's gains can be built on the next year and so on. And it's not just been Griffiths. Griffiths is just more noticeable because his development has been spectacular.

 

Dont think there is much point juding him after the EL campaign we done ok in the Europa last season only to fluff the qualification again

 

This is a much tougher group and qualification from this group would be achievement.. I'm not even saying we need to qualify from the group, just good performances from the players and a better tactical awareness and squad selection from Ronny..

We need to see a reaction and a desire to be here.

Realistic expectations..

 

Please just admit that Ronny is NOT working out as our manager. Most people on here should be able to manage a Celtic team to win at least a double. Then in regards to Europe we could do no worse as we have been knocked out of CL qualifying stages 2 years in a row. Ronny has been a big failure in Europe. He has met with the board this week and he knows what he needs to deliver on to keep his job. Results will be the decider on that.

What your seeing is simply some players not in form, for various, complex emotional psychological reasons.
Their quality of training, coaching, encouragement to apply it properly and fitness/conditioning? It's the best the club can afford to give them and it's working fine.

And someone mentioned that not getting into the CL last season was Ronnies fault?
Pish.
Do you think even Lenny would have done that with the players he had left? All the quality was shipped out and not replaced, in fact I would wager that's a big part of the reason he left, so it's maybe, just a teeny, tiny wee bit unfair to lay that at Ronnies door, no? All that considering he was plunged into the deep end and still managed to get us Europe after Xmas and do better overall than Lenny himself did in his first season or two.
