Hate to say it but the best thing for us long term would be a real going over off Ajax on Thursday. The quicker the changes at the top happen, the better.

Aberdeen have a clear lead after beating Hamilton last night and although it's very early and plenty of points to play for, I know they're already more consistent than last season. RD is a dreadful coach and I've thought that for some time now with his team selections, tactics and signings if it's even he who decides who we bring to the club.

Losing a League without the huns would be the ultimate disaster. The quicker the change the better so the new coach is ready for next campaign.

Encouraging quotes from him there on one of the pages on celtic news now. He talks about defending corners but also alludes to having the wrong system. It is the kind of thing we have heard before though. Mind last season he was on about finally going 2 up top and he never did. I am starting to cool down after the weekend but in all honesty if I see him making any more obvious mistakes I want him out immediately. Quotes below:

We know what we are doing and know exactly what is wrong,” the Celtic boss said. “We have conceded too many goals recently, that’s not just the defence it’s the whole team. We have to play together and defend together, we have to sort out the set plays so that we get better.
“It’s strange when you play one year hardly losing any goals then suddenly you have a bad period and you have to get out of it. We know what we are doing, we can do better we have to take one step back, look at what we are doing and do better.

We should be a good side as well though!

I'm not one for turning against all of our managers. I stuck up for WGS and Neil Lennon all the way! Mowbray was more obvious with the woeful League form and wild 424 formations but this guy isn't much better if at all. The team look defeated and jaded. A good Celtic Manager wouldn't let that happen.

    Oh yeah,, I admit. He made Griff play better. So now, balancing the pros and cons of Deila's tenure, we have: insisting with a formation that doesn't work for our team, never changing the formation or mentality regardless of if we are playing Inter or Hamilton making us the most predictable team of Europe, defenders regressing as players which implies there is something very wrong with the coaching, players panicking at important matches and not giving a * in the League, getting humped in Europe by teams with a fraction of our budget including a total humiliation at the hands of Legia Warsaw, either being responsible for ridiculous signings that made our team worse or failing to be vocal and press the board to change their attitude;

against: improving Leigh Griffiths football, two good games against the worst Inter of modern history (that we lost anyway) and one league cup.

Fair play to Aberdeen winning 7/7..

    Hope they sustain a challenge..

Big week for Ronny not the result necessarily but the performance, needs a big reaction.

The whole point of hiring him was to make us better in Europe. Any joker could do well for us domestically.

Deila should really have walked after the shambles of Malmo if had any self respect at all.He had three bites at the CL cherry cake and failed them all miserably, any other Celtic manager would have been out the door by now.We are now five points behind Aberdeen in the league, and he Deila dozen't look like he has got a clue, and he appears to have lost the dressing room too. That places the league in jeopardy as far as I am concerned.

It dozen't make any sense to me to let Deila stay longer, and see our season horribly fizzle out before our eyes, and consequently make the job of the new incoming manager all the more harder, by giving him less time to prepare for next season's CL Campaign and a resurgent Sevco coming back up, it makes no sense at all.

That's bollocks a team has to play for the manager to win especially in cup games.. We came within a whisker of a treble because the players wanted to play for the manager.

We got out of the group last year and ran Inter Milan really close
This year who knows we can beat Ajax home and away anything we take from Fener will be a bonus but we can finish 2nd

We didnt win it though did we? Also if being the Kings of Scotland is our only ambition then we may as well self liquidate out of shame.

Evidently not and that is the most depressing thing of all. A couple of years ago we beat that team 9-0

Pretty sure it was the sheep. Stoker and Hooper both got a hat-trick while the King looked on from the stands.
