    Not really the point though.

Ajax were knocked out the CL by a team who finished runners up to a team who got knocked out the Champions Route of qualifying. Was just saying Malmo or even Salzburg might have knocked Ajax out as well or Malmo may have beat Rapid Vienna since they beat the team who came above them last season.

So wouldnt really say their qualifying was harder.

Fenerbahce got knocked out by Shakhtar though so most like all us would have been knocked out by them, they had a difficult qualifier.

My initial point was the route. It has been easier for us to qualify with the introduction of the champions route.

This season Salzberg are 5th while Rapid are 2nd.

I totaly agree guy is well out of his depth imo a have seen enough aye hes a likeable nice guy but does not change his formation tactically nieve, took him 20 odd mins to make a sub when were chasing 2 goals in sweden, the team cant play that formation major struggle for them anybody who cant see this must be blind, theres * all movement in that final third, nobody wanting the ball, 1 striker dropping deep to link up because hes bored out his mind and starved of service, not even any movement when we get a throw in and thats school boy stuff a seen the aberdeen defeat coming from a mile away so did there fans thats why they got there biggest crowd for 7-8 year.

A dont see anything changing fast he will stick with 4-2-3-1 and deploy zonal marking for the remainder of the season but in all honesty we look weaker than last year and fed up to * fast attacking football we were told we were getting when he came in hasnt exsisted.

Yeah my main concern is that he will not protect this new defense. I see this as a major problem. If he doesnt change system then he is marking his own card imo

Dont think he will ever change it and I agree if he doesnt he will be out the door next year, thing is we would be far more effective with 2 up top everybody can see this, just hope the new guy is decent especially for the reported dough were supposed to have paid for him, why he didnt play on saturday is strange because the boy said he was fit and ready on thursday hope he comes in and strenghens the back line, cant be hard right enough because we have been poor as * since the season started.

I agree. I cant see him changing his system either which is why I am harsh on him. He is simply wrong. I think he could be gone as soon as this day next week. I think if we fail to beat Dundee he is finished.

Peter seems to really like him so cant see him losing his job anytime soon, jc needs to tell him to change it imo he would never use that formation if he was our manager so he needs to use his voice either that a think they will both lose there jobs a still think it was a mistake getting ronny in, am far from impressed with this team and his tactics, aberdeen go down to ten men and he brings on efe ambrose at the weekend this to me shows he hasnt got a clue what hes doing.

Peter loves him lad but Peter is sharp as * and knows that if this gets any worse then people will be looking directly at him, so for his own self preservation I reckon he will act. He will not risk losing the league becuase if we do he will look like the biggest shitebag in football because all this will be his own fault.

Where does the sheer passion of your desire to get rid of Ronny cone from, og1?
I get your arguments, even if I don't agree with them (you have studiously ignored most of my counterarguments from yesterday), but I just don't get the energy, drive and passion you are putting into this. I mean, what actually is your post count for this last few days?

Do you work in advertising? You seem to be going for the persuasive power of maximising "hits" rather than bothering to answer most of the counterarguments.

I would have thought the efe coming on was more to do with lustig not lasting 90 mins more than anything else.

I forget what order the subs were used in the game.....was cifti on at that point.

    1. Yes our form is shocking. There is several reasons for this poor form. Look at the sheep game. We didnt have interplay between strikers, we didnt protect our back four, our wide players were awful. A change in shape possibly to the diamond could have been a solution to these problems. He also picked the wrong team. He now rates Rogic ahead of Commons. This should be a sackable offense on its own. Terrible judgement or thick headedness behind the scenes. Commons should play most games bar the odd game in Europe when a worker would suit better than a footballer.

    2. I dont think we have developed many players under his watch, not any players that didnt look like they were coming on to a game anyway. Bitton has improved. Leigh wanted the position and took it. Ronny had him playing in the reserves 11 months ago.

    3. I think our failures far outweigh his success in Europe. Not even * Chemeler/ Mark 1974 could argue this point.

Og, no one is attacking anyone. If anything your relentless negative vibes are attacking everyone else when we should all be realistic, for one thing, about where we are right now and sticking together to try to be positive. The players/manager certainly won't need to be told they haven't been good enough lately, the last thing anyone connected with Celtic needs right now is negativity. Cheer up, mate. Look forward to what will be a belter of a tie on Thursday, it's as close to a European 'derby' as any fixture.

There you go generalising his acheivements again, twisting them with simplified sentences to make them seem like failures instead of successes. When you consider the massive step up from a small Norwegian club to European football with a club like Celtic, undervaluing his acheivements is churlish at best.
