No it doesn't. You obviously expect a grown * to answer a journalist saying "were you scared just like Ronny said you were?" by answering in the affirmative.

I suggested this as a possibility earlier in the thread.
And don't forget the exclusion zone Deila has set up around Stokes.

Hard to believe that Gordon, VVD, Mulgrew, Brown, Biton or Johansen were scared. Saying the team was scared would have been wrong even if true.

Edit:Forrest to above list of the rest I would only say it was a possibility.

 

Will Ronny leave out/punish a few of the players from this match? Opportunity for Rogic, Allan+ to get in the squad.

 

Disappointed in Ronny coming out with the scared talk, whether it's true or not you should never hang your players out to dry like that.

At the end of the day we lost most of the goals to set plays, that is a coaching issue.

 

It's an excuse simple as. He tried the same last year blaming Lennon's fitness. He should man up and have the balls to admit that he is at Sea Rovers levels tactically. The problem is, is that he is unable to see the problems with his methods.

 

The scouting is worrying. Take Malmo as has been previously mentioned, Rosenberg - better than any striker we currently have.

Their defence was atrocious so i wouldn't have any of them. However in the middle of the park Lewicki and Adu looked really quick strong and good technical ability. Completely showed up Brown in the middle of the park.

Deila should know the Scandinavian market inside out yet we have signed one player from there and he was a Lenny signing! Why are we not looking at that market more often, value is decent and technically they are far better than scottish players. I just don't understand it.

 

I don't necessarily agree with you but I'm not going to completely discount what you're saying either. European football probably is still a learning curve for Ronny Deila right now. It takes some managers a while to figure it out and maybe Ronny isn't there yet. Maybe.

The important question is, does Ronny have the capacity to become a better manager at that level? I believe he does. He's young, he's obviously bright, he'll figure it out.

 

He was a good manager for us, no doubt about it. Whether he is a top manager is debatable, hence why he is currently at a Bolton team who are struggling badly in the second tier of English Football.

 

The team Lennon left wasn't fit enough for Deila's liking, I don't see a problem with that. It was very noticeable that we got fitter as the season went on.

Right you are. Lennon looks like he is getting found out at Bolton as well to be honest.

 

Debatable as I said recently. The fact that he failed with a team that was apparently fitter is not an endorsement of his methods.

 

Bit of a scumbag statement about the players being scared.

 

I love Lenny but lets not forget he had 3 goes at getting us to the CL himself.

Ronny needs a strong showing in the cups, league and EL and we should revisit his situation in January.
