But for a horrid decision we'd be there.

Must be furious, I hope he comes out and goes * insane. Things need to be said.

Forrest was dangerous today and I would have kept him on personally. However i can see why Ronny hooked him instead of Commons. Jamesy looked a bit heavy legged at the end of the first half and may have been carrying a knock. Also Commons is always a weapon from distance which is a definite factor.

Hope he gets the funds to bring in half a dozen players, we badly need some sort of overhaul.

Two full backs, a striker and perhaps a centre half or two.

I genuinely believe he thrives on adversity. Truth be told it would be boring if we won the treble every year. We got close on his first attempt but I believe we'll get it under him eventually.

No chance. We will take in more money than we spend next season.

Have to say I think Ronny has to take some responsiblity for today. Forrest looked our best player today, yet came off while Commons gave his worst performance in a Celtic shirt to date. To then bring on Tonev was ridiculous.

Wish all managers had that response. It's so obviously right in front of everyone, no need to talk your way into trouble.

I kinda wish he'd brought Scepovic on, Griffiths just had an awful game, his first touch wasn't good enough and when they had the man advantage they had two players on him right away, Scepovic might have done a better job of shielding the ball. He doesn't run as much as Griffiths but we needed more control in their half, the usual pressing wasn't going to work a man down.

Agree with all of this.. Also Would have liked to have seen a wee bit of variation we are too predictable in shape and easy to set up against... We should have varied it with two up took the game to them.

That's my one criticism of Ronny no variation in formation.

The Tonev decision was baffling. But with Stoker suspended and the Utd boys ineligible what else could he do? We needed fresh legs. Tonev is our worst signing in the last 5 years. He is *. Thank * he will be * off shortly

I agree he had to take some of the blame, no one could argue with his starting line up but his subs were strange imo and pretty late also, still don't understand why forest was taken off and commons left on, Forrest was having a good game commons was not, and down to ten men we were always going to be playing on the counter and commons has no pace at all, no way blaming him but found some things strange

It was either bad Tonev or the equally as bad McGregor

McGregor would have been a far better option. At least he can go by a man. Can shoot as well. Tonev is the worst player I have ever seen in a Celtic jersey. *, bringing on Ambrose and sticking Matthews in midfield would have been a better option.

For FIFA and UEFA to be so stubborn about not implementing such an obvious improvevent that is proven to work in other sports must mean they have some sort of agenda. I can only think that introducing video referees for such decisions must somehow involve a loss of control over the game for them, though I'm not sure how.

I'm starting to think they'll try and train canary refs to fly above the action before giving in on technology.

I think the answer was to move Griffiths back into one of the 3 in behind and then bring Guidetti on.

    Forget Tonev and McGregor.

I'm all for video refereeing as long it can't be used more than 2/3 times in a match and no longer than a minute or so for studying those same images. It will slow the game massively down and will be (ab)used by teams if they're under massive pressure I think.
