Ronny spoke to Scottish Express about early doubts over the Celtic job (translated from Norwegian media so the quotes are not 100 %): "There was a peiode I doubted I wanted this. It felt a bit unfair. I have allways said I want to build and create things, but when you come in and it's all about the results, results and results, I found it difficult too see how I could manage both development end results".
Assistant manager John Collins, Stevie Woods and John Kennedy (coaches) helped Ronny remove some of the doubts. "Right now, mentally, I'm in a very good place. We have put the foundation down and we can finally start with the fun stuff: building better relations and making the system work even better".

 

Ronny still can't understand most of what broony says, said he tries to laugh at the right time. That last bit had me in sticthes

After watching the Sutton interview with Ronny, I've got a whole new level of respect for our Gaffer. He spoke very well even though he was probably sitting there thinking he wanted to punch that big smug * smack on the nose....

Ronny is a ranter... he doesnt even understand the word but then all of a sudden makes it sound like he commonly uses it . Love listening to the guy, he could sell sand to the arabs.

If we win the treble this season and ronny wins at least one more trophy after it'll be our 100th major trophy, a no bad feat.

Thought it was a very good interview by Chris Sutton and it gave you a fascinating insight into Ronny's personality and character.

Loved Ronny's " What's a Ranter ? "

 

The last couple of interviews he has given have really given us an insight into his personality. You can tell that he really feels at home here now and he's enjoying it. This is only the beginning.

 

The danger now is a big club might try and come in and cherry pick him from us, especially if we do the treble.

 

I get the sense that he very much wants to build something lasting. He'll have the opportunity to do that at Celtic.

I think we're the perfect match. He recognises just how big this club is and just how big it could be. I think it will take a very big club to make him leave.

 

You could be right, and I hope you are right. Ronny does say in the interview that he hopes to be here for years which is very encouraging.
