It's time to get of the fellas back! Yes I know it hasn't been all glory with him but he's a decent guy and I wish him well in the future. Hope it's not a Lenny return though I think it's going to be Roy Keane who'll take it now alougth doesn't the euros clash with our European qualifiers. If so, that might be a stumbling block for him. Whoever it is, please not a Lenny return and that's from someone who was a Lenny man while he was here. It's time for someone new and fresh and hopefully the cheque book will be opened abiy more this time.

So he is not good enough to be celtic manager, is he leaving at the end of the season, we are taking a massive chance giving him these last 5 games.

Good decision, though a sad one. For me, he was given the opportunity too soon in his career. He had incredible success at Stromsgodset but was too stubborn to change his ways when the same tactics clearly didn't work here. I hope he does well for himself.

Celtic and Ronny would've been a good match if he had 6-8 more years of experience. Then he would've known when to mix it up and have the guts to drop the deadweight players.

Despite everything i still cant but feel sorry for the guy,if those players had actually tried in half of those games who knows what could have happened.
I hope our new manager has a right * clear out and get rid of some who think its ok to not give a * while wearing the hoops.

    Took too long to announce.

Farewell to Ronny. Wrong man for the job but he was handicapped by Board in my opinion.

My feelings exactly, him and his family has suffered enough. And with them coming up again, it would just be as bad as last time. Will always remember what he has given us but it's time to move on

I don't feel remotely sorry for him, he should have done a better job.

It honestly felt like he was just in to tide us over until they came back up. I feel he has been doublecrossed by the board, to save cash until the competition came back.

Why did Lawell wipe him out knee high?

That does make for an interesting argument.

what was that post a while back, possibly in a different thread showing the stats of each manager and in fairness Mowbray didn't seem that far behind rest, yet he couldn't string 3 consecutive wins together.

Sometimes you just got to read in between the lines.

Statistics are very black and white, and rarely tell the whole story.

Look at the stats from our victory against Barcelona to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Thanks for trying Ronny. You were the wrong man at the wrong time. We know who shares the blame and hopefully celtic fc rid him of his job also. Lawell out next.

Now ronny has done the decent thing we should all give him our full backing till end of season. Also if rumours are true about brown and commons acting the * and causing trouble the should be punted in the summer

They need to remember it's the fans that feel it the most when they underperform and if it was intentional it's unforgivable

For those who are in love.....
Pretty standard practice these statements where his lawyer/advisor is likely to have put it out..

As for Ronny and this news, it was completely inevitable. I'm surprised it's not been him leaving sooner. Has to be a reason why we can't get the man they want in right now, haggling over money, at a club still or Country at the Euro's..

I wouldn't want Lenny back as a manager, for himself and for us moving forward. For me, as unlikely as it is, I'd love a combo of Moyes and Lenny as assistant, Rodgers and Lenny even. A wealth of everything in those 2 combinations..

All the best Ronny. I thought I'd be delighted with this news, but I'm not..

All the best to him! Nice guy but just not up to the job!
Have to say his time here has brought nothing but disappointment.

Glad to see the club coming out and making the statement, could have easily rumbled on until end of season and been distracting during the league run in.

Now that thats been sorted so begins the circus around who will be the next man in charge. I hope its not going to be another "prospect" manager the same as Ronny obviously was. We need an experienced, proven man at the helm and this man will need to be backed with funds big time. We have alot of ground to make up just to get us back to the level we wer at a couple or so years ago player wise.

Lets hope the board make the right choice this time.
