Collins can GTF and Kennedy can go back to Youth Coaching. He was good at that.

Risky time. Hopefully the players get over the line now and don't just collapse with uncertainty over there own playing future. Bigger budget next year though so things should improve. Can't * wait!

    Not surprised, but i am surprised by this;
    Aye sure it was :smiley-laughing002:

Although knowing our club this probably means we were going to keep him.... :54:

Real shame. I love the guy and wish it could have worked out.

Best of luck in the future big man.

While it's never nice to gloat over someone losing their job - especially, as has been pointed out, one who brought us a double last season and will retain the title this season - Ronny was a square peg in a round hole at Celtic; his ideas were good, but his rigidity, naivety and unwillingness to learn from his mistakes are ultimately what cost him.

Good luck with whatever comes in your future.

Kinda feel sad for the guy...as much as it has to happen.

He woulda been a great youth coach....the guy has tried his best, but we need more than that now.

Nothing bad to say about the guy, hope he has a great send off.....he deserves that at least.

Collins and co go as well i presume?

And while your at it,desmond and lawell.....please * off as well....i want my club to have faith and belief going into these qualiifiers.....not just a cash cow

    See ya ronny :shamrock:

    Exactly this !
Genuinely gutted for him. Such a likeable guy, and I also wish him all the best. Talked a great game, and for a while it was working for us. Had us playing great stuff.
Think far too much went on behind the scenes. He'll have been told to keep schtum about it all, but I'd love it if he came out and spilled all the beans.

    * Desmond and Liewell have a lot to answer for.
    All the best Ronny :shamrock:

I am pleased with this news.

That being said, I hope (or rather had hoped) that we would have acted with more dignity at Ronny's announcememt - as poor as his regime has ended up, I am sure he has given it all of his efforts and it must be remembered that he left his young daughters in Norway to come here and try to bring success to our club.

Thank you for at least one league title and one Cup win - it isn't his day, but I wish him every success wherever he ends up.

Aye, will no doubt come back to haunt us in the Champions League qualifiers in three years time when he's managing * Helsingborgs or something.

Think everyone wanted him to succeed but he was miles away from ever being a Celtic manager, good luck to him and hopefully he gets a decent send off.

Wish him all the best, he seems the most likable guy you could ask for.

However I don't see him lasting till the end of the season, this announcement will have not changed the minds of lot of game attending fans, the game on sunday is still fresh, fans will boo the life out of him and if we play against county in the similar fashion as we did the sevco fans boos will be even louder.

Lied to from the word go, and lied to in the manner he is leaving, no way ronny put any words into that statement at all.
