If he's no gone in the summer, I'll become suicidal.

I can only understand keeping him here because there's nothing really to gain from sacking now. We're still going to win the league. I understand a new manager could become settled but if we don't get rid in the summer, they'll have a revolution on their hands.

 

They must get rid of him now. He could bottle the league. I am serious. He is that incompetent.

 

He will be gone in the summer thats a certainty now. Let him win the league and then we can all move on.

 

This. Even If there manager is anything to go by a team can be turned around completely within a year.

 

The 'at least' is what frightens me. What if he wins the last 5 games in a row?

He should have been gone last night. For me, his biggest fault, and I've said this plenty times before, is that he selects players regardless of their form. Biggest culprit at the moment is the club captain. He has been dross since he returned from injury, but has started every single game. It was another embarrassing performance from him yesterday. For me, he has always been poor on the ball, and his passing yesterday was pretty much par for the course, but he seems to have lost all his drive and energy as well. He is easily bullied now. Then we have Johansen. A player who has been poor for most of the season, but has been picked more often than not. Prior to his injury, Armstrong was another. Boyata's inclusion yesterday over Sviatchenko is beyond belief.

 

Surely he's got to * go?

Guy has more lives than a cat. I honestly don't think I could stomach watching him parade the league trophy as if it's some sort of great achievement.

It could turn very very nasty in the stands if they don't move him on IMO.

 

what will him staying here for the rest of the season do for the season ticket renewals that are due out this week.

 

A new manager should be brought in NOW to clear the dross and be able to plan for next season.

 

That was my thinking. I would urge no one to renew until this mess is sorted out. The only thing the board understand is money, and that is the best way to hit them in the pockets. I wish there were a concerted effort to get this mess sorted.

 

Git rid, younger hungrier players in our team not getting a chance over Brown,Johansen,GMS etc......Christie,Allan Nesbitt would have been busting a gut

I can't see that he will be here next season. No clarity on his position we see a big reduction in ST sales. This is the one thing the will get the board to act.

 

If he was sacked today they'd put Collins in until the end of the season which doesn't sound very appealing.

I'd like them to announce he'll be gone in the summer.

 

A concerted threat from the fans that there will not be renewals could also be used to get Desmond to sack Lawwell. Could something like this be organised on forums?

 

Exactly this. We have to call a press conference today. Enough is enough. We are a total laughing stock now.

 

Desmond's influence at Celtic is incredibly worrying. In Strachan's book his account of how he got the job seemed to suggest that Desmond made the decision on his own.

 

Hm. Well then, then pleas and demands should be directed at him. He should get rid of Peter, have Deila and his assistants sacked, and make room for the next manager to have a free hand to fix the mess that is currently here. If he doesn't care about the club enough to do this, then pass it over to someone who cares.

 

Apparently Johansen got subbed because the batteries fell out of his bra and Ronny thought he was deed. Otherwise he'd have been on untill then end

 

He lost the dressing room months ago.
The way Stokes, Commons and Allan have all been treated is ridiculous. Last year, this same man had us playing great stuff. With pretty much the same team. Give or take.
This year, we've been rotten. It's definitely to do with the players and dressing room.
