I still don't think he's good enough but pretending there's no positives or not giving credit when it's due is daft. Games like that Killie one are gold in a season, one of the biggest moments and endings from a game under WGS was the Gretna game. Every manager has them.

I agree with the last bit but we played 433 against Killie, a different formation than was used before.

I think we have about the same amount of points as we did last year at this point in the season. We're winning. He's not doing as bad as what people say.

In other words, he can do no right.

No point even debating with you so the idea of a Forum being for opinions and debate is lost.

He shouldn't be lauded, as such, for bringing on Rogic. But he absolutely should be credited for it. He made the change which won the game whether you like him or not.

It's not that he can do no right. To play the same system again is just illogical in my eyes.

Yes, he brought on Rogic. Yes, Rogic scored. The small amount of credit he receives for that is overshadowed by the criticism he deserves for the unwillingness/inability to adapt the system which had already failed twice v Kilmarnock consequentially ending up in the same gutless, turgid pish we had been served before.

Do you know how hard it is to play against super defensive teams? Look at how Rangers got to the UEFA cup final. Not because they were better or played better. Because they got their tactics spot on against better teams.

At least as hard as it has been for every other Celtic manager.

Ronny shouldn't be copying their tactics too much mate.
    Look what happened to them.

You almost sound gutted that Rogic smacked in Goal of The Season to win 3 points in the last minute.

    Mind boggling.

Comparable domestically. Poor, if we're to compare in terms of European football over the last 15 years. Let's be honest though. If he failed to land the league title any year under his reign, he'd be hung, drawn and quartered.

I'm one of his biggest critics. I can admitted he's had some positives and he's done a good job with Tierney and Rogic. Unfortunately, these positives are too few.

I have no confidence he'll get us into the Champions League. I don't even have that much confidence he'll get us to the Europa League.

If the board keep the faith, although I feel it's misguided, and he stays on over the summer, he must surely be given the boot if he doesn't get us to the Champions League. He's been given so many opportunities and chances against teams we should've put up a bigger fight and should've knocked out.

Not sure how you managed to think that based on what I said. If you seen me in the Rugby Park stands after the goal went in, you'd know I was the entire opposite of gutted. It doesn't make any of my points any less pertinent though. It was another inept, unimaginative performance. The hallmark of the Deila era on regular occasion now.

Depends what type of person you are.

I see VVD, Denayer, Bitton, McGregor, Tierney and Griff flourishing. I see 4 in a row and going for 5. I see passion and unity after a last minute winner.

Those are my hallmarks of his time here. My bug bear is European stupidity/naivety and I'm willing to give him his shot for delivering 5 in a row and hopefully a Scottish Cup as well.

If Ronny is doing such a wonderful job why are only 25 to 30 thousand of the faithful turning up at paradise every other week ?
Could it be that we are so * of with the * football on display ?
Sorry Ronny but I hope you are dumped in the summer .
