Then they too could get to deal with threats to their lives and assault by supporters of opposing teams:celt_2:

A lot of games under Lennon we would play well for a short time score 1 or 2 then just drop the pace and end up being a scrappy game. We could always seem to dig out results though, something Ronny hasn't managed to do consistently this season and certainly not in Europe.

The League position and points total defies what you're saying. As does our last game.

The results in Europe have steadily got worse, he's also came close to chucking the league.

In everyone's eyes the double is in the bag, which is a dangerous way to think. If it doesn't work out exactly that way people are in for a crushing shock.

Regardless, this season without much European football, everyone says, well if he wins the treble......

Then that falls over it's, well if he wins the double.....

I expect that goes down to, well at least we won the league and we've got some qualifiers to look forward to.....

Then if we get knocked out it's, well at least we're in the Europa and then coming last in the group you end up back at, well at least if he wins the treble.....

At the same time if we were to replace him with the wrong guy it could honestly be just as bad.

Michael O'Neill rumour on KDS as replacement for Ronny :54: supposedly heard from someone in contact with our board. Already panicked at visualising a Kyle Lafferty swoop in the summer

And this is exactly my point, people happy to say appoint someone new and then a bit shaky when someone like Michael O'Neill's name comes up...still think it's better to stick with the devil you know, than the devil you don't....not many high calibre managers will take this job and whoever does will no doubt need a seasons overhaul to get things on track.

Let's stick it out with Ronny.

I thought that the Michael O'Neill rumour went to bed on account of him signing a new deal with Northern Ireland?

Michael O'Neill signed a new contract very recently. Think it was a 4 year deal, so no chance
