I know that I'll likely get flack for this, but it took Deila two years to make his mark at his previous club. I think he was fighting relegation initially only to have his system and team click and go on a tear that saw them win the league.

When you compare his first seasons signings to the type of player we've signed this season it's really night & day.

Berget, Tonev, Wakaso, Duffy & Šćepović compared to Boyata, Allan, Christie, Jozo, Sviatchenko, Roberts & Ajer.

I like the look of the younger guys we're bringing in, and I have a feeling that we're going to see some decent earners shipped out this summer. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that this season will bring about the end of an era.

I could be completely wrong of course, and I'll happily admit that if we don't manage to at least qualify for the Europa League group stages next season, but I can sense major changes coming and I think plans are in place, which is why the board are still sticking by him.

Bumping him now and hiring Lennon, Keane, Coyle or some other mid-level manager will * that up. And if we're brutally honest that's who we'll end up with, we're not going to get a Moyes or a Rodgers.

We knew this was going to be a transitional period for the club when we hired this guy, and I think three years is what we should give him.

Big things need to start happening this summer, and we need to make some improvements in Europe this coming season, with Champions League qualification being top of that list.

If not, then he should be gone by January at the latest and there'd be absolutely no complaints from me on that front.

We aren't small fry compared to the sides that have put us out of the CL qualifiers in recent years, that's something that needs to be remembered. In these games - we're the big team in pretty much any measurement.

From now until the end of the season definitely - the only thing I was this season now is the double, I couldn't really care about style at this stage although I suppose it would be nice to have some evidence that we're progressing in that sense.

When you look at his win percentage, which is 64.15%, he isn't far off Strachan, who's was 65.02% or Wim Jansen who was 64.17%.

He's miles ahead of the likes of Mowbray, Burns, Macari & Venglos.

:50: This summarizes exactly how I feel right now. I'll have no problem admitting I was wrong if it doesn't work out, but the young team he's built this season has quality and he deserves a chance to test it.

The brutal and unescapable fact is, that we have by far the best resources of any club in Scotland. Yet despite this we are playing like a team that is substantially less than the sum of it's parts.

The only person to blame for this is Ronny. If we're to do anything in Europe we'll need to be punching above our weight. At present we're punching below our weight.

We need to bring in a manager who can get the best out of the resources at his disposal. Keeping Ronny for another CL attempt would be a massive mistake

When deila was hired i was actually pretty excited, we were guaranteed the league and his record with a small norweigen team bode well for our european games as often we are underdogs in the champions league. I have absolutely no faith in him anymore though and to be honest it looks like the players dont either- i feel sorry for him not having his own backroom team and getting little backing from the board. However we are in steep decline at the minute and a change is needed, is there anyone truly happy at our performances this season? With sevco back up next season and huge money in the champions league with bt sports tv deal especially a big appointment is needed otherwise we could find ourselves in the wildnerness and once there it would be very difficult to get out of it.

Posted a picture not that long ago think it was 28 games in the difference in points from this season to last season

Seen a recent one and forgot to save it:87: but let me just put this here we are one point behind what we where on last season and goal difference is way further than last season

This stage last season we where 5 Infront of Aberdeen this season at the same
Stage we are 4! I am in no way talking about performances here but all im going to say is the stats don't lie !

We are winning games and I'm happy with that right now let's get behind the guy and hope that he board do to and there is some major shuffling next season and we can get back to the good style of football

You realise the're were children at the game, they shouldn't have been induced to listen to that.

The Ronny roar is cringed as * tbh. Not something you would see a top manager do imagine the fergie roar or the jock stein roar . * as *

loved seeing that passion from him yesterday. Had a dig in the match thread about the roar, but that seeing it again that's quality. Hold my hands up.

Still not a fan of it in general mind :smiley-laughing002:

Nobody claimed it as anything it's just what he did to appreciate the fans pretty sure it was Ian Crocker who started the whole "Ronny roar" thing

What do you want him to do just slide Down the tunnel
