There is improvement, for me tonight maybe a bit of inexperience and nerves but its going in the right direction.

Ronny picked the right team, wonder if Commons would have started instead of GMS/Armstrong if he were fit.

If fit I reckon he would have started Commons just because he has that previous big game experience.
For 2 young players to come from Dundee United and settle in like they have is unbelievable. Well done to the 2 of them and for Ronny for giving them the support to do so.

I love Commons but after the game I'm glad of the line up we had! the two new lads were excellent.
Given the choice before game I'd have had commons in team, probably in place of GMS and I think he was possibly our best player on the night!
As for Ronny, it's getting better every week! Loving what he's doing so far.

I think Commons would have been good to get a foot on the ball and make things happen with a long range shot or similar. Then switch him for GMS to run against tired legs.

Hope so mate, that's the best team I've saw since Seville, if we get up to the level that we can take 10 points in the Champions League group stage with one lf the best teams ever in it I'll be * delighted.

I wasn't putting Ronny down there but people temd to forget Lenny's achievements. Ronny's doing very well for himself, he has the right to be proud of his team just now.

Quite a few people in the pub were saying the same thing in the second half , i think we could have done with him in there . I would play him in the san siro .

Agree about bringing GMS on for the last half hour to run at the tired legs , could be a very good tactic . ( Although he is playing too well to drop so * knows , cant fit them all in ! )

This is another thing I think people are forgetting. It took Lennon a good few years to make a mark in Europe. Deila, although he took over a better team than Lennon, has implemented a whole new system, and he has effectively started from scratch. A lot pressed the panic button early doors, and called for a formation change, but we are seeing now exactly why Deila stuck with it. It wasn't him being stubborn as some suggested, it was giving the players time to adapt. Rome wasn't built in a day. Last night was the best I've seen us play for a long time. It isn't often you can say that we looked a fitter team than the opposition in Europe, but we did last night. We were able to play our usual high tempo, high pressing game, but we were also good when we had the ball. Individual errors unfortunately happen in football, and you cannot prepare for them, and they definitely were the difference between winning and losing last night, but there is many things to be happy with. We showed we are more than capable of competing with a top team, which Inter still are, even though they have struggled this season, something we couldn't have done at the start of Deila tenure.

I genuinely hope we go unchanged in the away leg next week, barring any unforeseen injuries. The only change that would perhaps be advisable would be Guidetti for Griffiths.

Don't fix what isn't broken. We played some amazing attacking football last night.

This guy, I mean.... I get misty eyed just thinking about him ffs. This side has so much potential and will only keep on getting better with Ronny in charge. Proud to say I've backed him in the "bad" times. :celt_2:

Love the guy and i love the way the team is going.

When we hit that fast double last night i was * ecstatic...thats how i want Celtic to play.

Inter near the end switched to a 5 man defence to try and stop us and couldnt...their players were even cramping up they could keep up with our pace.

George McCluskey was on Celtic TV for a pre-match interview. Just a little quote:

He then goes on to talk about fitness, attacking tactics etc. Worth a watch if you have a subscription.

    Brilliant.

Deila is going to be the best thing to happen to Celtic in a long time.

Even listening to Strachan today, who is usually complementary towards us, Ronny dosnt get the credit he deserves publicly off any of these pundits. Which is bizarre. Maybe it's jealousy. It always seems like they want to stick the knife in and what is weird that it's all our ex-celts.

Strachan said he hasn't started a revolution at celtic but an evolution. That's bullshit. We play a whole new style of football. Players who were half decent are now becoming stronger and fitter, technically improving. Hes not even been here a season yet. Strachan should be applauding him too for the recent signings. It's all down to Ronny. Whatever he's doing in training is working. He said at the start 'if you want to be a champions league team, then you must train like one' we are starting to see the fruits of that now
