I told yas this would happen when we beat Morton. The rest of the support have cooled down and still want him gone but the pushers are back with a vengeance.

Genuinely starting belive there are fans who would happily see us spiralling into nothing more than domestic contenders as long as Deila is in charge.

It's just mental though, we're literally witnessing the same individuals who a few months ago were saying, "we're still in Europe and have the chance of a domestic treble" to "we'll still win the treble", to "we're still on for a double" now to "as long as we win the league I'm happy."

In order for Deila to keep his job he literally has to achieve something that a few months ago people thought was impossible not to achieve. :smiley-laughing002:

This is definitely true. If we win the league and lose the cup because of a dodgy decision against us or win it with the benefit of a dodgy decision then objective achieved. Anybody who does not tow the line is not a real supporter and should be ashamed to be called "the best fans in the world"

They have far superior players. Berget for example showed us the quality we need

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news mate, but we are domestic contenders for the most part.

Europe's elite is continually pulling away from us with their TV deals, big money and ridiculous wages. We can't compete.

We're primarily a Europa League side these days, much like the likes of Ajax, Fenerbahce, Bordeaux, Marseille and other similar sides that have recognisable names but that are also being left behind for various reasons.

We'll make it to the Champions League on occasion, but honestly, if any of our fans are basing their entire seasons around Europe then they'll be disappointed more and more as time goes on.

Sadly it's become the case on here recently that if your head isn't firmly buried in the sand (or alternatively - if you actually care about the long term wellbeing of the club, and dare to question the untold wisdom of Ronny Deila or the fact our Chief Executive earns a comparable amount to our highest paid player), you're some sort of quisling eejit or worse.

It is difficult to diagnose but I would say it is stubbornness and not wanting to admit they were wrong or that they swallowed propaganda.

If we scrape the league by a point the 'Ronettes' will be demanding another year

It's called backing the team, and honestly, it can't be any worse than continually bumping your gums on an internet forum about how much you don't like how things are.

Just accept that you're going to do * all about it, and neither are most of the other folk moaning about it either.

Those of us of a sound mind know that things haven't been great, know that the performances haven't been up to par, and know that questions need to be asked.

What we also know though, is that asking them in March when we're fighting for a league title and have a Scottish Cup semi-final coming up against the Huns is counter-productive.

Get behind the team, get behind the manager, and after the dust settles we can see what happens in the summer.

Even if the sheep win it the very next day they will be pushing the "trebles on" for next year line probably extended to the quadruple. History will then be re written to blame the board (even though they are the architects of this and always were) and the fact that Deila failed where another manager wouldn't have had will not be taken into consideration. The downsizing line that many still absurdly resist to this day will be wheeled out and so on. I'm not saying Deila will get a pass but he will be absolved from a lot of the blame as usual.

And see this *? You can * right off with that.

This emergence of * who have no issue badmouthing the manager, resorting to name-calling and slagging off fellow members of the support is * embarrassing.

Far more embarrassing than anything happening on the park. Get a grip of yourself.

Honestly mate, if I hated the manager and the way we're doing right now as much as you? I'd probably step back for a bit until things change.

I certainly wouldn't be logging on to a forum every day to constantly moan about how * things are.

Unless, of course, you get a kick out of it?

Aye having posters make up lies about you and having views attributed to you which are false is wile craic. Honestly do some reading on that experiment and look to see what i'm saying here. I wont be hard to come to the conclusion I am trying to point you in.

Actually the most embarrassing thing is keeping faith in a manager totally out his depth, whilst telling people everything will work out ok with this tool in charge, when its quite clear the team would struggle to put 4 league wins together in a month, ive already pointed out since August we have did it twice, you actually think its possible under the pressure 'we' have created for ourselves.

But nothing to worry about here

Can't quote you Daibhi. You seem upset by the 'Ronnette' label. Just a reminder that a couple of posts above you straight up claimed that there are Celtic fans here that are wanting us to lose. Much worse than a harmless label imo.

Funnily enough, we are just doemstic contenders, but only because we've ben underperforming in pretty much all aspects possible for sometime now. The hard reality is that the deck is stacked in out favour as far as domestic dominance and CL qualification goes, financially and in terms of the Champions Route - we're still doing our best to find almost unheard of ways to * things up though, and some fans are inexplicably content with that.

It's still a weird situation he could win back to back doubles and still be seen as a bad appointment dont think it has happened anywhere in world football before
