Perhaps that's true, but we're really only working with assumptions here. The same, although not to as great an extent, happened with Mourinho's Real Madrid and Inter teams in his third season with them. It could just be that he over achieves with a team until he burns out as opposed to the players actively wanting to lose games.

There is no option for me to choose. I would like to see Lawwell & co resign with immediate effect with the management.

If players don't like something, same as fans, they disappear. Don't want involved, etc. I think that's what's happening here. Personally.

Watching that abysmal performance tonight was soul destroying. No passion or desire from the whole team (Tierney being the exception) and no creativity or invention going forward. We were lucky to get away with a point against a Dundee 2nd string. That's just not good enough and comes off the back of months of dreadful performances.

The players aren't playing for the manager anymore (if they ever were) & for Ronny to bring on a guy that has played so poorly in recent months & who has just turned down a contract with the intention of moving on ahead of guys like Allan & Commons is a slap in the face to these guys & must send morale spiralling even further down than it already is. I like Ronny, seems & nice guy bit I like Celtic a whole lot more & for the good of the club he needs to go. Shame.

From the always reliable KDS member. Not being sarcastic, he does actually know what he's talking about.

    We are a shambles.

I still cant believe we destroyed what Lennon built. Deila fairly * piggy backed on the foundations Lenny built as well. The chickens are coming home to roost though. We need to get rid of this * before this gets even worse.

Initially I was very suspicious and underwhelmed by his appointment but he quickly changed my mind and I am honestly still devastated at how we destroyed everything he built. We were so close to becoming a regular CL team that it is painful to think about the degree that we * up. All it needed was a few long term contract extensions and some genuine quality and we were out of sight in Scotland for possibly decades.

It still really annoys me that that nobody ronny came in and made a big deal about being 24hour athletes to a team that won the league by that margin and have all played at a vastly superior level than he ever did

It is but this mess is still fixable I honestly believe that. Getting Moyes is the most important target for our club in years. The stability he will bring will be exactly what we need. I'd say it will take him a while to fix this mess but not as long as people think I expect him to turn us back into CL regulars quickly.

100% true. I never thought we looked fitter under Deila never. He's a text book manager. Give me a fat footballer over a * iron man with two left feet any day. Deila treats football like cycling or other endurance sports. He thinks all this book talk and shedding .25% of a kilo is better than being street smart and talented. It's a load of nonsense never play a worker over a footballer, turn your footballers into workers fair enough but never ever play a water carrier over a football player.

Imagine telling Moyes that John Park and his band of geniuses will be picking out his players. The guy hasn't picked out a decent attacking player for Celtic in years.

Moyes would need to be allowed to bring in his own team of scouts because picking up bargains is his main strength (this is also his own opinion).

Not even mad at ronny, hes out of his depth the poor sod. The full anger of our support should be aimed at the board and only the board. They were the ones who hired him when most of us had not even heard of him. They are the ones who have overseen our slow and steady demise as a club for years now and have done nothing but make our situation worse!

It actually angers me to think that Sevco have been rotting in the lower leagues and could realistically challenge us next season.

The Board should admit they * up.

100% we need a football man in charge of the football side. That is why I am beating the Moyes drum so loudly. We need to move away from our current policy which is dictated to by bean counters who view players as assets. We need to build a strong experienced quality side and Moyes will know this. The last thing we need is another yes man in to oversee Lawwells vision for the club. This is why it has to be Moyes.
