Now that everything has calmed down a little bit I'm swaying more to the give him time camp again. I think it's just that I want him to succeed here so badly. He's a top guy, and I agree with almost everything he says about the game. I just wish it could be transferred onto the pitch more often.

Trying to Insult me won't make him a good manager .So it was an anomaly now it's not .Do you honestly think we would beat malmo if we met them again????

No it's still an anomaly, the building blocks which Deila put in place to facilitate aren't.

We'll find out if we're capable of beating the likes of Malmo when it counts, in a few months.

What's the ethos though Paul, genuinely interested as to what you think he is trying to build and what evidence have you seen to back up your claim?

24/7 athletes. The percentage fat loss within a month of the entire squad a glaring piece of evidence it is working.

Within a month of him joining?

Why are we still to see the benefits of these super athletes then? There is plenty of games we are blowing out our * after 60 minutes.

Personally I think he has taken his philosophy from Strom and brought it here, not taking into account the amount of games and pressure at this club and worked the players too hard pre season and between games.

It's easily remedied though by going easy on players in between games, especially when there is only 3 days between games in the first half of the season.

The problem is though, he laments the fact he has so little time with the squad between games that I don't think he could go easy on them between matches.

Yet we've looked dead on our feet towards the end of lots of important games.

Losing body fat percentage does not mean the process is working. The end goal for us is results on the park. Players supposedly getting fitter is not a goal in itself, it's a tool to help us achieve a goal.

Delighted to be watching a Celtic side with reduced body fat. Can't wait to have grandkids to tell

Ethos.. For me means everyone buying into a regime of fitness, tactics, professionalism, formation, team spirit and understanding..

Implemented by a respected head coach and his staff..

This is not the case at the moment..

Aye, within a month of him joining.

We've looked bereft of ideas. There's a difference.

So in other words, 24/7 athletes.

I am a more behind the scenes lurker at heart and I cant wait actually until I can return to my default status. In order for this to happen we need to start doing things properly. I only post when I have something to say and if we are on the right track I can sit back and enjoy it and let the rest of ye participate in the back slapping.

The Deila thing is different though. Even I can forgive him for Legia and Maribour but as time went on I said to myself, "howl on a minute this buck has no intentions of fixing our problems", I seen the danger and people were not saying it so I had to say something. I realize the last few sentences makes me look like a walking hardon but it is the way I felt at the time and we all seen how it turned out.

So in summary if you want me to shut the * up you should pray for us to hire a tactically sound manager and fix our policy so that we invest in ourselves by getting players in the key age/experience bracket that we need. I will be happy to go back to checking this place out for the odd snippet of news and post sporadically. Before Deila started making a pigs ear of it I had 700 odd posts since 09. I would be happy to average 100 posts a year for the next 7 years if it meant getting another Lennon in the dugout.

A professional athlete will only succeed if they have everything you've just listed! It isn't just about fitness.

So people would sack him if we did the double? This is getting out of hand now.

Both Neil Lennon and WGS's teams unfit as they were seemed way more likely to score late in a game. This team now seem to do most of their scoring in the early parts of the game.

Sorry I disagree with that. Roy Keane plays for and only cares about Roy Keane. The concept of a club and doing anything for the benefit and future success of the club would be a total anethema to him. He walked out on his country at a World cup due to his infantile ingflated opinion of himself and his self importance.

To manage a club like celtic, you need to have patience, intelligence ( emotionally and intellectual) passion, and diplomacy. Keane has none of those qualities.
