Hmm that's an interesting way of looking at it. I'm the same, except, I think it's too much for him and time for a change.

I go into every game desperately wanting him to prove me wrong. I'm still dreading the qualifiers with him at the helm though.

Yeah, I think it may be a step too far/too soon for him as well, but for him to get sacked we'll have to have lost some games, and I don't want that to happen.

Basically, I take it on a game by game basis these days :smiley-laughing002:

I supported Ciftci every time he played for us. I willed him to score and hoped he would come good. Was I happy to see him go? Yes

Just because we want him replaced does not mean we don't support him.

Aye, I thought he should have got the bullet a long time ago, so I wouldn't disagree with it if it had to happen today. I do want us to win every single game though, that goes without saying.

Well thank you for proving my point. Calling me a * and a roaster, you felt I deserved criticism for my point of view and you acted on it. Fair play to ye. That's the name of the game. People need to man the * up and get on with it.

Don't get me wrong, if it surfaced today that he's been given the sack I'd be disappointed that it didn't work out, I'd wish him all the best in the future, and I'd get behind the next poor * who has to work with our board!

That was criticising your point of view mate. That was giving you abuse.

    Very true :smiley-laughing002:

When did football start to become a plaything for 11 year old girls? Abuse is a load of crap. What adjectives people use to vent frustration or annoyance is not abuse nor was calling me a roaster, nor is calling Blackett *. This is football man the * up.

Abuse is if you cause physical harm or say something * evil. None of this has happened to Deila. He has gotten pelters because of his * ups nothing else and certainly no abuse from our support.

It's fine when it's directed towards the opposition, not when it's turning on our own. Whether you want him in the club or no.

You are kind of married to your point of view so I cant see you change position but that is not true either. Look at the amount of stuff Efe has to put up with. Why? For no other reason other than his mistakes. It is not because people dont like the man it is a direct response to his performances for us. We could argue all day over the definition of criticism and abuse but if it's good for the goose then its good for the gander. I emphasis with Deila on a human level, I really do, he seems like a genuinely nice guy but bringing this in to deflect away from his failures is both disingenuous and unfair to any player/staff that ever came under fire for under-performance.

The abuse Efe gets is out of order as well. I used to not care, I didn't like what happened to Paul Telfer though, the fans rained nothing but bile down on him from the stands, he was just a real honest trier and looking at his actions in the past and from the squd talking about him was a real good person as well. That's out of order.

There's criticism on a professional level then there's personal abuse. People overstep the mark.

Nobody is deflecting from his performances, nobody is saying he deserves the job because you sympathise with them.

Abuse is a strong word and I reject it because I am highly critical of Deila, highly critical but it is not personal it's just business. I agree with Paul Telfer he was a solid enough full back and nowhere near the worst of them but it's a part of football and always will be. I dont see a campaign to humanize Efe or others in an attempt to cut him some slack and to paint his detractors as mindless morons. I dont mind people backing Deila but to use underhanded emotional blackmailing tactics is beyond the pale.
