Think that was me,unless someone else pointed it out earlier..

It would be major headline news for months and no let up, I actually said to my dad earlier that it would be the final straw for Lenny and the one that finally forced him out of Scotland to the delight of many a journalist to start with if he ever reacted similarly to that * today,job done!

 

Not seen that from someone on sidelines since a game I played at Under 16's. It was ridiculous then and ridiculous behaviour from Pardew.

 

Never like to see a manager lose their job but I'd be * delighted to see Newcastle punt him.

 

It's not the fact of he hardly hit him, it is the intent and the example it sets for thousands of people watching the game.They are on massive wages and they are made out to be icons etc by fans, Pardew is the manager and that behaviour is unacceptable, if he doesn't get a heavy fine/ban something is wrong!

 

massive over reaction, especially in the media basically because they have to say its wrong.

it wasn't even a "headbutt", he has leaned he head into the other guys

the whole "you cant do this cant do that" attitude towards football these days is what's wrong

I think it's all become too PC with people acting outraged and wanting bans for everything. Im never shocked when players or managers are raging or try to skelp others, its a sport and * are choking to win, sometimes it boils over.

Footballs turning into a lot of pish with no tackling and lengthy bans and fines for anything dodgy yet you watch Rugby, American Football or Ice Hockey and theres people getting tore into each other, people need to start getting a grip in football. Like the Vertonghen one mid week, collapsing like he'd been hit in the face with a bat and not dinked by someone elses head.

 

TBF to MOTD 2 it was their third story behind the League Cup final and Sol Campbell saying he didn't captain England more often because he is black. However once they did get on to discussing it, it seemed pretty obvious that Martin Keown really doesn't like Pardew.

 

People claiming it was a headbutt are need to catch a grip. Any little incident these days and the media and public are baying for blood. I know he shouldn't have done it but it's nowhere near as bad as what the majority are making it out to be.

 

If you're going to header somebody do it properly.

Can't stand the man, but it was hardly a '*' and hardly newsworthy.

To be fair, I would have also reacted pretty narkily if it was me that the player had shoved out of the way!

 

As everyone knows....As a Sunderland man through and through I have absolutely nothing but hatred towards Newcastle and all things associated with them, especially Pardew, *, hate him with a passion, so let's get that out the way


However, I can't help feel ashamed of myself because, although I might be in a minority, I don't think is was worthy of the way the media are making it out, having being told at Wembley what had happended I watched in on MOTD the next day and my reaction was..."Is that it?" It wasn't anything remotely violent, obviously our former lad Meyler said something and he's just got a moment of madness come across him, yes I completely appreciate he's the manager and has to lead by example but I've honestly seen worse things in the playground, absolutely minimal contact and to get a £100,000 fine and for some papers suggesting he should be sacked is just laughable, I don't want him sacked, I think he's a * manager and love the fact he's at Newcastle.

 

Wasn't a head *. Someone needs to describe to the English football community what a head * is.
