It wasn't big Duncan Ferguson esque and he won't be doing 6 months for it either..

He sticks his head into him,a manager 3-1 up on a player just wanting to get the ball and get his team back in the game..

Why do so many hate Pardew?

The Hull City player needlessly shoved him first.

He was going for the ball as pardew let it run past him,a little over eager shove,nothing malicious..

Remember Lennon got a 6 game ban for shouting in McCoist's face in the shame game (McCoist got * all if I remember correctly).

I expect 8-10 games for this minimum, if of course he's not sacked.

The overreaction to this is insane. Players do this type of stuff all the time and I don't see how is should be different because it's a manager. A 3 match ban would be enough.

 

Its not the 1st time Pardew has done something though, remember when he pushed that referee the other month

I agree and disagree. It is major overreaction, but IMO managers have bigger responsibility to keep out of trouble like that because they influence the actions of their players on the pitch - they're supposed to display professionalism and keep players in check. Headbutting players effectively lessens the severity of any similar actions performed by the players so it encourages thuggery and unsporting conduct. However it's more an issue for NUFC's chiefs (who've hired an idiot) than it is an FA disciplinary (who as you say shouldn't really hand out more than they would for a player).

In truth I just want 8-10 just because it's Pardew, who's a * of epic proportions and because we've seen Lennon * by the authorities here for less.

I actually think the headbutt looks worse in the still picture than the video...it basically was just a push with the head as he said in the interview.
