Would be great to see 3 Ulster teams in the semi. Would also mean they have to do an open draw because all 3 Ulster teams have faced one another

And there it is. A really exciting match up for us against Galway. Another great contest in store between Derry and Kerry and then you have to say for the other 2 Quarter-finals all of those sides have to be loving that draw as they all steered clear of the more fancied sides and all have a real shot at reaching an All Ireland semi-final now.

As long as the Ulster team in red and white make it into the semis, who cares about those other two deadbeats? :giggle1::giggle1:

haha genuinely I was not bothered either way yourselves or Galway both were great match up's to really look forward to. What I am glad about is that Kerry have a really big Quarter-final as well rather then a more straight forward draw. That was what I did fear is us having a really big game and them getting a fairly straight forward passage to the semi-finals. Now instead it really is a great Quarter-final lineup. Two big games in us v Galway and yourselves against Kerry and then in fairness to the other 4 sides they will all be extra excited at avoiding the favourites as they will all really feel they have a good shot at the semi-finals so hopefully some good action there as well.

My hope is that the real Derry turns up. My fear is that this is our AI final and, if we win, we'll have nothing left for the semis which, if we were to get Armagh or Donegal, we'd normally have a decent chance of winning. One game at a time though.

For sure all you can focus on is the game in front of you. Certainly Kerry will go in as favourites based on the recent form of both sides. But if you play at or close to your best your more then capable of beating Kerry no question. What will also be interesting and the way things have panned out so far it would not surprise me if it happened is if the winner of yours and our quarter-final met in the semi-final which would really open the door so to speak for the other 4 counties.

I lived near Ballyshannon for a couple of years. Lovely house over looking the river Erne. I always feel that Donegal is so under rated for its spectacular and rugged scenery. A beautiful and wonderful county.

Absolutely. Definitely one of the top 10 places to live in the country after Ballinascreen, Maghera, Bellaghy, Magherafelt, Derry... :)

My mistake, definitely just outside one of the top 10 places to live in the country after Ballinascreen, Maghera, Bellaghy, Magherafelt, Derry... :84: Cmon Derry.
