Good for Waterford a great day for them and a good shot at what would be only their 3rd All Ireland hurling title and first since 1959 for them now. Great to see Dublin woman back in yet another football final. An amazing run from them making now 7 All Ireland finals in a row and hopefully a 4th consecutive title.

Wow how about Dublin thrashing Cavan 1-24 to 0-12 in the first of the weekends All Ireland football semi-finals. I mean obviously not a shock we beat Cavan but wiping the floor with them by 15 points that I did not see. Some very telling comments from the great Pat Spillane when he talked about the intensity and hunger he saw from the Dubs when he was up close with them for the first time.

Boring at this stage mate lol. Dublin have gone beyond the point of “iconic team” status, hats off. It’s both awful and sensational to watch them play.

Considering how big and home many shock results there have been up till now in the championship it is kind of ironic that both semi-finals were so one sided.

Maybe for some but as a Dub I am loving every minute of it. As Celtic are sadly showing only too well right now enjoy the success when it is there and don't take it for granted.

I did think Tipp would give Mayo more of a game, but can’t say the Cavan game surprised me at all.

Looks like the final will be a real nip and tuck affair based on teams dominant form.

I certainly hope so but this is a quality Mayo team and certainly your more then capable of beating us in a one off. Hope your right though:60:

Only thing that will stop Dublin doing 10 in a row is if the appoint Neil Lennon as manager.

Congratulations on 6-in-a-row, Dublin. Managed the game very well.

Very cynical today, though. Not nice to see.

Cynical? I wouldn't say cynical Id say clinical. I feel for Mayo honesty, if it wasn't for this Dublin generation they'd have a few all Irelands. The easiest of the six in a row this one.

Pretty * and unmemorable championship in a long time in fairness.. biggest winners Tipp and Cavan for their provisional titles.

Not something i noticed at the time but seems to be gathering fuel on social media(cynical).

Look forward to sundays papers to get their views, would hate to see the game going down that road.

    Cavan, in particular, were sensational.
Just seemed there was more diving and more lip from the Dubs than usual. In the finals a few years ago it was something I glossed over because you had Connolly and Keegan battering each other (among others!) so it wasn’t as noticeable. Maybe noticed it last night as there wasn’t the same off the ball stuff; Scully was particularly bad for it.

Don’t like to say it, either, but the referee was poor.

Yeah mate Cavan were great.. Best game of the championship was their game with Donegal.

I agree that the ref wasn't great, Cooper probably lucky to stay on the pitch as usual and I thought the black card for Dublin was a shocking decision so he wasn't great for both sides.

As @ddub11 said I didn't really notice Dublin being overly Cynical and thought it was mild compared to some Dublin v Mayo games in recent times. I wouldn't pay too much notice to social media as I can imagine 31 counties sorry 30 counties I doubt too many in Galway had sympathy ha were too impressed with Dublin winning again..

Cynical indeed and the ref let them away with it .

    Better team won obviously .

    Ref was shocking.

Dublin dominance will pass , just like It did with Kilkenny / Crossmaglen etc.
