    Anyone watching USA v Italy?

    What a game.

1-1 at the moment. Italy scored against the run of the play thro Gilardino but a basketball move seemed to take place on the man who was meant to mark him from the set-piece. I think it was Pope who was bear hugged so he couldn't move and they were punished big time.

USA equalised thro a brizzare og that has to be seen to be believed by Zaccardo and moments later Di Rossi was sent off for a shocking elbow on McBride which almost broke his nose. Blood was everywhere.

As I said, what a game. And only 30 minutes have been played!

    Italy v USA

    * is that ref on???? That was never a red card....I am seeing nothing but cheating Italian players diving all over the * place, and that stupid ref is giving them freekicks....what a * joke of a ref.....

I hope the USA win....'mon the USA!

    All three reds deserved.

First red was a certainty. If it happened in the street the guy would be in the jail.

Second red was an easy decision. Pirlo is lucky his ankle wasn't broken.

Third red was deserved. Two yellows were merited.

sorry Murphy, I don't agree....the second red should have been yellow.....i remember the uproar when Alan Thompson was sent off in an Old Firm game for a similar tackle, which also should have been Yellow...same story here...IMO he went for the ball, was late...deffo deserved a yellow mate...not red

Its a high tempo, and tough game, and the ref should be able to adapt to the run of play, none of the tackles, bar the elbow. were malicious.

The second was a terrible tackle, studs right at the ankle. As I said before, Pirlo was lucky to not have had his ankle broken.

The third red was two bookable offenses.

I agree about the two yellows, but IMO the second red incident was a yellow card offence mate.....lol we'll just have to agree to disagree mate.....:celt_2:

I am delighted with the result tho, the USA deserved the draw.....gutsy performance.....:50:

    great game!
In my opinion the second red was a good decision, that was a violent teckle, studs first, hardly any intention to hit the ball, dangerous play.:40:
    Red card.
