Hartley is the worse Celtic player ever to win a double. Everyone thinks he was amazing at Hearts but he only scored 8 goals in one season or something

:green: can't think of any other reason.....although I'm sure we all thought he would have brought more to the team at the time.

Kevin Thomson or Paul Hartley ?
Thomson is 22 and Hartley is 31
Another £1million would have got us Thomson and to have had him and Brown with Naka , McGeady , Donati and Sno would have been a sensational midfield
Thomson keeps the ball moving and Hartley slows attacks down . GS made the wrong move

I don't think it matters what manager is at the helm. Are you saying Strachan doesn't recognise world class potential? If you are then you are wrong because better players stand out more in poorer teams and leagues so if Sno really was as good as you say then he would already be one of our best players.
Secondly, think of Fabregas.99% of people think he is a world class young player. With Sno it is split 50-50 on whether he should even be in the team:50:

I'm saying that Strachan is the only one who thinks that Hartley should merit a place before Sno

If Sno is one of the best young players in the world then he would be in the team no matter if Strachan is the manager or if the man on the street is the manager. He would simply be too good to leave out of the team but the fact of the matter is that he is not.

Sno has been injured but if he was fit he would be in ahead of Hartley

Mate do you think being better than Hartley equates to you being one of the best prospects in world football:97:.You know this better than anyone.

Actually I have this bad feeling that Gordon Strachan will play Hartley in favour of Donati. Hope my feeling is wrong. If not, why did he bring of Donati for Naka instead of Hartley on Sunday against Killie when Hartley was probably worst than Donati.

Hartley is *. Sno is a prospect. But for me, neither is first choice at CP.
Midfield should be McGeady, Naka on wings, and Donati and Brown central.
