    Mexican Primera Division play-offs already started and it has been exciting so far!

    Jaguares - Santos Laguna was the most exciting match as everybody expected for their strong attack:

    Diference was Santos have a reliable former WC gk, Jaguares have a less than average one... by the way, Crosas lost his starting spot.

    Tigres 1 - 0 Morelia

    If they tie in the aggregate, the better placed team advances.

    Santos is in the final. They were down 2-0 and scored a goal at the 87th and 89th minute to advance.

    THE green and white hoops are still celebrating all over the world after our brother club, Santos Laguna secured the Mexican league title with a 2-1 victory over Monterrey on Sunday.

    The play-off final to decide the winner of the Clausura League saw Santos Laguna draw 1-1 with Monterrey on Thursday in the first-leg. And it was the green and white hoops who triumphed at the weekend.

    Former Celt, Marc Crosas was in the starting line-up for Santos, and the hoops took the lead in sixth minute when Daniel Luduena scored. A goal from Oribe Peralta just after the hour mark made it 2-0, and though Monterrey scored late on, it was Santos Laguna who won the match to become Mexican champions.

    Everyone at Celtic Football Club is delighted at the victory for the green and white hoops of Santos Laguna, and we congratulate our brother club in Mexico for their fantastic success in winning the championship.
