It's nice to see Tijuana doing well. They're extremely popular in San Diego at the moment...

They have a good squad (even thought old and aging) and a good coach, I think they'll stay in the 1st division for at least this and the next football year (Apertura 2012-Clausura 2013).

They have signed a few of the better SoCal Mexican-American players because of the possibility of playing professionally while still living in San Diego. It's not the best youth system by any means but there are a few promising players in there - most visibly with Corona (and to a lesser extent Castillo), but also with Greg Garza, Stevie Rodriguez, Alejandro Guido, and Bryan de la Fuente, etc.

Just started the second half of the Monterrey - Puebla... Great, great match, both teams trying to play attractive football, if anyone interested: http://www.rojadirecta.me/goto/tv.kozreload.eu/p/canal1.html

PS: It ended 2-1 for Monterrey.

Also, it seems Luis García will have sort of a reality show in Puebla... lol

Yes I watched him play against chivas I thought he did great. Played simple and smart, had a cracking shot at goal from long distance that the keeper stoped. Looked good to me over all

 They were booing him? Thats not what the Dutch camera crew filmed and showed us. Ive only seen enthousiast people asking for autographs. If they were booing him they would have shown that here.

And this not lasting long? I couldnt tell mate, you know your Mexican football way more then me.

I dunno if they booed Cruyff, but they did boo when Vergara was introducing him, then Vergara said something like "when you're a guest you should respect the house" or something like that, but it really happened.

Is not that they don't like cruyff mate and as shown in the video they might not have been boing him as a person that would stupid he is a legend it's more like a good part of their fans are not very happy with this sort of things their president has been doing to them, from what I've been hearing they're not all happy and most think nothing is going to come out of this. vergara is a very stubborn and difficult man to deal and work with. chivas is one of the teams in this country that changes managers almost every season, I can name a few in the last few years, Daniel Guzman, Benjamin galindo, raul arias, chepo
de la torre, fernando quirarte, efrain flores, jose luis real, Ignacio Ambriz, all of the above in the past 6 or 5 years I'm sure I'm forgetting some more and most of them are fired or quit because of problems with this guy and cruyff is not going to take his *, that's why I see it not lasting long at all, maybe the fans were booing the whole idea of bringing cruyff not because of him but because they see very little positive things coming out of this. This guy Vergara is an excellent business man but he is destroying chivas identity and in a lot of ways he is done so many things that their fans are * at, for example not too long ago he changed a color on their badge and theymalmost forced him to changed it back, henused to make the players go to kids birthday parties, and even dressed them as clowns :56: built a new stadium and charges twice the price the tickets costed at their old stadium, also he was always an Atlas fan ( some people in Guadalajara hate more atlas than they hate America) then list goes on and on, I can't see cruyff liking working with this team another thing is that their fans are also to me the most hipocrital fans in Mexico if you watch any home games you see their * hole empty, I remember when I went there a few seasons back pumas had won about 6 games in a row and vs pumas the game was 0-0 at half time every single fan of them were booing the team cause they were 0-0 it finished 0-0 still did not loose they were still undefeated and were booing their players so I can expect anything from them, Mr Pmosh will confirm what I have been saying or at least most of it :50:
