The Mexican Football Thread.

Everyone I know who has been to Mexico says it's * great. In fact some of them didn't want to come back.

I'd be more worried going somewhere like Washington or Detroit tbh...

 

Most places are overrated in their crime to be honest because some people think that having their city have a lot of crime makes their * bigger. It's something weird about the human psyche. I've been to/worked in Tijuana and the countryside around there, the Mexicans will tell you that's one of the worst cities and even there there's not much of a problem anymore. Juarez and further east are the only places I genuinely wouldn't go to along with some of the border areas they share with Guatemala and Belize.

 

True. Glasgow's had a bad name for violent crime for years, but I've had zero trouble anywhere in this city - and I've got a fondness for walking around in the small hours.

Fact the last time anyone jumped me in the street was when I was at school.

I think these things sell papers, and people just take it as true. Like you say, there's a kind of cachet attached to it, for some perverse reason.

Well I'm * stupid, I'll be in Argentina from tomorrow onwards... so is the channel it's going to be shown on broadcast all over Latin America (and therefore Argentina)? Or just Mexico?

 

no mate doubt it will be in argentina there is foxsports espanol for the usa foxsporst mexico and foxsports cono sur for south america which we do get here in mexico as well. what part of argentina are you going to mate?

Well i live in the US and i've only seen it on tv but tbh i think it's really nice. But it's too plastiky for my taste. Anyway we're going to beat the crap out of those stinkin chivas. I don't know where all the money is going, i'm happy that we're giving chance to the youngsters but we really need some reinforcements now. Dante Lopez is picking up but i used to like the pace of the Pumas that won the clausura of 2004. Marioni, Leandro, Ailton Da Silva,Kikin Fonseca and Joaquin Botero were the best atacking force i ever saw on Pumas after Cabino and Hugo Sanchez. El patronato is moving some serious savings and i don't know where all that money is going.

 

I just saw the add for tomorrow, and it's announced at 19:00 hrs! it certainly can't be live! can it?

this new stadium of these * chivas its like a refrigerator (cold) no atmosphere i feel sorry for them they say the are the biggest team and the most faithful, my * this * was half empty tonight and tonight was their first home league game i think there were more of us than them

They are really mad about the new stadium prices, and several groups made the call to not attend the game to force Vergara to lower the prices. From your report I think they succeed.

 

yeah thats true jalex but they lowered the prices for this one though. but yes your right they are still higher than in the other stadium, another thing i hated was the turf poor players couldnt control the ball, it looked like when some one sent a long pass and the ball touched the ground the ball would suddenly stop it was very weird and sometimes over bounced i cant believe vergara does all this crap if i was a chivas fan i would sure be * at him
