A different type winger off the right and a left back are a must..

 

We should be spending more money for sure. LB the glaring weakness.

Ange’s recruitment has been first class - the board should be looking at each signing as an investment rather than a cost.

 

Left back should be a priority imo happy with middle to front even with our injury list were still strong there

 

LB, LB LB..

 

Highly impressed with the squad we've managed to put together. At least 2 quality players for each position (except LB - 2 back ups)

We have made good progress and are just a 2 or 3 players away from a pretty strong team.

Starting left back who has a good engine, pace and decent on the ball. Given we work to a tight budget someone like Kenneth Paal or Erik Wekesser. The later would add good physicality too. Omar Campos mentioned also looks some player that would bring a lot to the team.

Another mobile CB who is comfortable on the ball like Jerome Onguene, is a dominant CB quick, strong, used to being left exposed due to the way Salzburg play, is capable in the opposition box or a Riechedly Bazoer who would be like a playmaker at centre back, I actually think he would be an ideal 6 given his strength, pace and vision. Both have expiring contracts.

A winger capable of being a game changer, of the ones we have been linked with Ferhat the most capable to do it at a top level and he also seemed to have the qualities Ange looks for. Again would be cheap as deal is up but there are bound to be other good options for the wings.

More of a risk but Arnaud Nordin of St Etienne is a player with considerable talent but not quite reached his potential. He would thrive in an attacking team, good dribbler can finish off either foot. Again an expiring contract so probably available cheap as his team will lose him for nothing.

Three of that list would help get us over the line I think and take the team to the next level.

That would be some team while being reasonable in terms of our budget for additional signings. Just need to get a few of the usual mob mentoring out the door.

 

Hes probably off to west brom but Ibwouldnt have minded andy carroll on a pay as your fit basis, guys a beast and would terrorise defences up here.

Defo need a lb and still think a cb is needed.

 

I think the squad we have now has all the depth required, yes we'd like better at left back but we have 3 there right now including Boli, unless he goes I don't see us getting one. We have some injury concerns just now and players missing on international etc so look a little thin until they come back but there's still plenty there.

Winger wise we have young Dembele who I'd like to see play and hopefully renew his contract and Moffat there as well. I think we should make use of pre contracts to get set towards next season.

We could do with backteam additions, we need to improve our chance conversation so a coach to work with that would be helpful

 

Can't see us getting a CB, LB and winger.

For me a LB is an absolute must. Someone who can come in and immediately improve us.

We have CCV, Starfelt, Jullien, Welsh, Scales and Bitton who can play CB.

Jota, Abada, Forrest, Maeda, Johnston, Dembele, Moffat on the wings - and Hatate if needed.

So while the CB and wing situations aren't ideal, the options also aren't terrible. Enough to get us to the summer anyway.

A Left back is essential. Either that or give Scales a run in the side to see if he can step up consistently or not ; because Taylor is a known quantity at this point and not good enough.

 

2 loans would be ideal......a LB and midfield cover.

 

We've already signed more players than I expected us to this window, so I'm not expecting anything else.

I am thinking one more in, ideally two. I think we may get a left back if Boli goes and a forward if Ajeti is away.

I suspect Soro may move out with the window as I think the US window is open longer. Hopefully Barkas goes but it is likely a loan at best.

 

We weren't fixing all our problems within two windows, but if we do finish the window with the 4 signed that's a major step in the right direction.

Ideally aye, I'd love a LB and another winger in, but Ange likes Taylor (Unfortunately) and the jury is still out on Scales, so he might not see the LB position as urgent, and we do have plenty of wingers, problem there is there's only 1 that we can say is 100% first choice.

Think come the summer we'll sign a LB, CB and winger early on, whether that be for the league or for the CL qualifiers.

 

Would love to see a loan deal for an experienced player who can play as an attacking midfielder or on either wing.
