Had no idea about this Ebosele guy. At least it’s encouraging we have a RB/RWB/RW coming through your playing at a good level with Udinese.

Collins, Duffy and Egan as a back 3 is very strong. We have a good keeper. Cullen is a solid midfielder, Stevens as well a solid option at LWB. Obafemi, Ogbene and Ferguson are strong attacking options. Emphasis on the latter of course. Molumby and Knight aren’t great but they get about.

All hope isn’t lost but at least there are some encouraging signs. Wasn’t a bad effort tonight.

Watched the last 15 mins and I'm assuming that Thuram was the guy that was with Thistle, he looked fkn awful, mind you brass neck is he scored earlier it seems, lol.

Big Duffy puts in some blocks and is great in the air.

Kenny should go tonight. We wont be getting out of this group so may aswell get him out of there and get a new guy in asap.
It was a gamble that didnt pay off so lets move on with a new guy in charge.
We are limited with the players we have but with kenny in charge we look like we are never going to score never mind win a game.

For me why Kenny needs to go is all his talk about playing with a much more possession based style has not really gone anywhere. Possession for possessions sake means nothing without bravery on the ball too and a willingness to hurt teams. He lost me after the loss in Greece when we had a long time including a camp in Turkey to prepare and put in our best performance and yet we showed up that night and fell flat on our faces.
Now I don't want Ireland to revert to the awful defensive direct style we have played with for so long. We do need to develop players with good technical ability confident in possession and we should play that way. But we must also be brave and want to hurt teams with the ball and that is for me where Kenny has failed. Our players showed no bravery on the ball in Greece and again one incident last night said it all for me. Look I understand that this France team is the best of very close to team in the world so especially with such a weak team from a talent standpoint we were always going to lose. But there was a moment earlier in the game when Cullen I think got the ball mid way inside the French half and played a short pass that connected to an Irish player who if he received it on the turn would have broken a line and got our player in at the French backline with a chance to hurt them. Instead he took his first touch back in front of the French line and two passes later we were back halfway inside our own half. That is what I talk about when I see our players show a lack of bravery on the ball. Kenny simply has not been able to get our players to be able to play in ways in the final third that hurt teams we don't show bravery in those spots. Now sure we have no 10 on our squad and very little flair and creativity never mind quality in our team but that does not excuse our players inability to at least show bravery in the final third.

Ireland got a tough group, I'd say no way were they qualifying. I do think if they don't come 3rd then Kenney should definitely go. I suppose the issue is he's probably dirt cheap and nobody else would do it so cheap.
