I don't think we need Bosnia to lose Gabriel. They currently have 8 points in the second place table and we have 10 so as long as they drop points the maximum they can get is 12 and a win for us takes us on to 13.

We could also do with Sweden, France and The Netherlands dropping points tonight as none of them are guaranteed the playoffs.

Give him another season and he'd be perfect for us, IMO. I'd imagine his eyes will be set on the EPL, though.

Good performance last night, even if we looked nervy in the second half. What are the coaching team saying to the players? I love Martin, but I have to admit that I have doubts about their ability to maximise our potential.

I don't know why we've gave him a new deal before the campaign is done. I wouldve left it until after the Wales game, which I think we can win but I don't think we will.

Cyprus v Greece is what Bosnia v Belgium was for Scotland. Greece drop points and it is all in our hands.

Greece drop points and that puts it all back in our own hands, that is all I am bothered about at minute Gabriel :50:

I know that but at least we can take some consolation from a Geek victory

So it looks like a draw now for Ukraine and Croatia would be best or the more ideal georgia beating Serbia.

Or Scotland dropping points tomorrow. If that happens a win for us guarantees the the playoffs.

It's kind of sickening that we are relying on other results at this stage after the great start we had to the group.

Goal difference might be important now. Greece at +4 and Ireland at +1 :(

True and the opposite of Scotland who started poorly and have come strong. Only thing that matters though is the final table.

Ive just read that if we beat Wales we are guaranteed a play off as Greece can't improve their points tally against bottom team Gibraltar. Is that wrong?

Just looked again and I think if we won by 2 we would be level with them in the 2nd place table?

They don't have to improve it though as they are 3 points and 3 goals ahead of us. If we beat Wales by four there is nothing they can do about it but I'm not sure I fancy us to do that.
