Ireland doesn't have the attitude or the discipline for our current set-up.

    Stokes is the same.

Agreed. This team just oozes professionalism, all stemming from Giovanni's leadership no doubt. The way the team conduct themselves in the media is brilliant.

    Buzzing for this now!

I don't really give a * about anyone at the EUROs except for McGeady, I just hope he has a great tournament and subsequently gets a 25 mill move to AC Milan, of which Celtic will get a few mill :icon_mrgreen:

Sometimes I swear Aiden looks world class, hope he shows it on the big stage.

I'd appreciate a big summer from Aiden for many reasons, but yes, the potential windfall for the club is arguably the biggest one. He could help us add further to our squad. :celt_2:

I reckon McGeady is going to have a big tournament. I'd love if he scored an important goal, like an equaliser against Italy to get us through :icon_mrgreen:

He won't be. If there was any sign of an injury he'd be of the pitch right away

Never rule out Italy, they are a great nation.

I think they’ll top the group.

It’s between Ireland and Spain for second. And tbh… I fancy us.

Croatia are also a good side, but I can see them being very unlucky in all of their games and finishing last.

    Italy
    Ireland
    Spain
    Croatia

I don't like Damien Duff being an out an out wide man these days. Needs licence to come in and play a bit.

There is no danger of that happening, for McGeady is nowhere near world class and it’s doubtful whether or not he should even be starting every game.

At the top of his game he can be world class, he can be untouchable at times.

I'm hoping he hits that form at the Euros

    Just hit the post.

That was an odd save from Westwood, very dramatic.

Yer man Houghton seems a harsh critic of McGeady, just listened to him over the last 15-20mins of this game. Every time McGeady does something he has a negative comment to make.

    I hate McShanes hair.

    It is physically revolting

Even drew praise from Houghton, put a similarly great cross in for Walters earlier. Running the show now.
