Aye, very lucky to (it seems) grab a draw. Czechs have been a class apart.

Major improvement needed for the Euros.

We should get Roy Keane in to manage us after he walked away from us in 2002 ? Guy's a *. You don't walk out on your country.

I don't expect Trapattoni to leave any time soon so I don't know who I'd have. MON preferably.

Shame McLean only got about 15 minutes.. should've gave him the whole half. He looked sharp.

You didn't even suggest anyone. Just slated Keane, which is a pile of nonsense, as if the man isn't a proud Irishman. Not only that, but a dedicated pro who led his career with ambition and heart. Dealing with * like McCarthy, I can't blame him for telling him where to go.

Wish people would stop saying this, when he saved Sunderland from relegation, took them to the Premier League, and kept them up. Those three achievements alone are greater than his failure at Ipswich. He actually started well there, as well. Unfortunate how the team hit that slump and didn't recover. Still haven't, either, FYI. Jewell has done no better and he's considerably more experienced than Keane.

ETA: Not to mention that Sunderland have done no better until MON took charge. Bruce, Sbragia, Black...all have more experience coaching, yet done worse than Keane, who left Sunderland with a 42% win rate. Good for a club of their stature. Just as well as McCarthy and Peter Reid did at the club...you'd have to go as far back as Docherty to find a better record.

why is McCarthy a *???? he wasn't the one who shamed his country by walking out on his country!!! Proud Irishman??? He constantly slating the Irish team and players.

he is a failed manager hence why he is now working for ITV because they are the only ones who will listen to his insane rantings. And I speak for a lot of Irish in saying he would not be welcomed as our manager.

oh yeah and he paid 10 million for Gordon:56::56::56::56::56:

I suggested MON. There's no point suggesting anybody anyway until Trap leaves and we know who is available.

Roy Keane is a * and a * manager. He ruined the career of someone (can't mind his name. I know he did something to Keane before hand but you don't end someone's career because of it). He walked out on his country.

Calling him a 'failure', a '*' and '*' with *-all to back it up with. Well done, lads.

Bear in mind that the 'walk-away' wouldn't even have happened if he hadn't carried us to qualification, in the first place. Best player the country has ever produced and I doubt we'll see another CM like him.

Failure - Did well at Sunderland to begin with, all went downhill and he was rightly sacked. Failure at Ipswich.

    * - Walking out on his country when we needed him most. Ended the career of Haland.

    * - Ties in with failure. If this is meant as 'he's a * player' he most certainly was not a * player.

I never argued against him being the best player we have produced. Maybe close between himself and Robbie, in my time anyway. That has nothing to do with his managerial abilities.

His ridiculous aggression makes him come across as someone who will die for the cause but really he's just a *.

Never said he wasn't a great player that there is no disputing. As a manager he is a massive failure and will probs never work in management again.

you called McCarthy a * what have you to back that up? I have far more respect for Big Mick as a manager and a person.

    He didnt.........

Im not sure if I would like Keano as a manager but trap has to go :38: Ireland games are boring the * out of me and we have a better team than the Czechs. A decent manager would have guided us to a win.
