So you would support NI over Ireland based on how many Celtic players are on the team.:38:

You have both massively misunderstood. I was complementing Ireland for playing it's talent players in contrast to Scotland who give Christian Daily 60,70 odd caps.

Overall I think that was better than I expected. Good start and I genuinely always thought the winner was coming. We did enough which is all I really hoped for.

Maximum points after one game is all you can ask for. Something to build from.

Glasgow_Bhoy got needlessly attacked there :56:.

And WolfOfParkhead, that's * ridiculous. You'd rather see Scotland qualify over Ireland because they have more Celtic players? I can understand maybe having a soft spot for Scotland for that reason, but actively wanting them to outdo Ireland is rather mad.

Seems I jumped in with both feet there. If that is the case then I apologise.

So then you would support England and Israel over Ireland.

It will be interesting to see how McGeady follows up this match winning performance. Lack of goals has been a legit complaint given his level of attacking ability. But today he looked so clam and composed for his first goal and the second well that was just top quality skill and a brilliant finish. More of the same the rest of the campaign would do very nicely:celt_2:

What about Biton and Kayal. Are they second class players?

Not having a go, I find it funny is all. An Irishman who would prefer England to beat Ireland if they had a Celtic player in the team.

It's a new world right enough.
