Kelly ahead of Foley? That's just ridiculous. Has Kelly even played one game for Fulham this season?

Conor, to be fair to Kelly he has been outstanding for Ireland this season but should be in the centre instead of O Dea. He was actually having a decent season for Fulham and played the first 13 games then Mark Hughes went off him. He will back playing regurley for Fulham next season I reckon.

I always thought of Kelly as a decent right back. Foley wouldn't be too bad, either. Just glad McShane isn't playing and that we have a proper, naturally-suited CD pair. I would've liked Clark or Dunne back, but oh well.

How the * Kilbane is in is beyond me, yet again Traps policy baffles me, I'm not keen on O'Dea in the centre either but I'm happy O'Shea is in.
Hope * can translate his performances into goals although I'm surprised Trap hasn't went with Long instead.
Midfield looks decent as well, thought Andrews was excellent in his last few matches and with McGeady and Hunt on the wings we can def do a bit of damage.
Feeling positive going in but I reckon our first 11 could be better.

What annoys me about Trap is that no matter how bad Whelan and Kilbane play they always seem to be in the team even when there is better players available. To be fair to Whelan he has stepped it up since Christmas but he isnt undroppable. Also I think Coleman should be on ahead of Hunt but it is what it is.

Longy will come on in the second half to make an impact if Keano and * arent doing the business but there partnership has been promising so far.

Ward should of been starting ahead of Kilbane, can't believe some of the teams Trap picks. Hope the Armenians can salvage a point once again against Russia.

Cheers, mate. I was getting sick of the multiple threads about such and such being called up, or not called up.

Anyway, should be a good game tonight. Czechs will be difficult opponents.

The size of the Ireland bench and no Stokes. I love Trap but he's ridiculously stubborn sometimes.
