It's not only the GB that sing rebs - I'm not in the GB for starters.

Have you ever thought that it may be possible for a Celtic supporter to also have Irish Republican sympathies ?

We have a tremendous repuation worldwide and we have sung the rebs for decades. Surely if singing the songs gave us a bad reputation, we wouldn't currently hold such a good reputation abroad ?

 

i sat in section 111 myself m8. right in front of me were two 14 or 15 year old drunk gb boys (they had their emblem on hat and hoody) which sung it and they shouted ACAB and stuff.... is this the celtic way? the club was founded for better reasons and one of it was respect for all colors, religions and people. singing about people who killed innocent is respect? if you think so, ok, but i wouldn´t call you a celtic fan then.

Your point about respect is a bit of a nonsense mate, for example - I don't respect the men who shot down 13 unarmed civillians in FreeDerry 1972. Does this make me less of a Celtic supporter ?

Agree but saying stuff like that on here is wrong i take young kids along with me and i do not want my boys hearing that * * Celtic is a family club .

 

Fair enough point but if your weans choose to become Tims and go along to the games then they'll hear it eventually. It's not something that you are going to ever be able to shelter anyone from completely because it will always remain, it's not going away anytime soon.

anyone else hear the larsson and boruc song's belted out in the last 5 mins of the game ? brought a tear to my eye.

 

Can someone who was at the game today tell me why the Larrson song was being sung? its just that iv never heard it since the Great Man left............. so why now?
