Transfer Market has it 6th best league in the world in terms of players estimated value. 80m population and its a proper football country so the TV deal will be worth hundreds of millions.

Plus there is a card campaign.. More than 350000 members pay average amount of 20 euros per year. Also a club membership more than 100000 members pay fee for it annually. So income and financial management is fine

We have no right to expect a result against Fenerbache home or away.

We had every right to expect to beat malmo over two legs.

Cheers for the heads up, I checked myself there and they're 60 if you go home on the Friday too, not too bad at all. Thought they'd be much dearer when the fixtures were announced.

I've wondered this too. Seemingly so have loads of people, yet get very few answers.

I googled and seen a few things. Owner of Galatasary is a multi-millionnaire (not billionnaire though) - he has invested. However they have had good share issues - made £62m in the last one.

Tax rate is 10% for footballers over there which is sweet.

Club like Gala pulling in £132m in revenue, so that's nearly £60m more than us on a good year; Fenerbache bring in about £92m.

Massive merchandise revenue aswell because of fans - they put their badges on just about everything.

Edit: Talking nonsense for T.V rights - everywhere saying differently. Highest Fenerbache are at on one site is £36m.

Still dunno how that turns into £100k a week wages though? :smiley-laughing002:

Still don't understand how the money comes check msg #1458. The data is from stock market reports. Also 1 more thing, Fenerbahçe Galatasaray or Beşiktaş or any other club in Turkey, have no owner. There is a club membership, between them a Congress board is elected and the representatives vote on the Congress for the management council and the president separately. It is like voting for the presidency and the Senate of countries which are ruled with presidential government. .. So the president is not the owner. They come with election for a decent period of time.
The financial power comes from the supporters . Highly mental crowd is supporting. Approximately there are 25 million Fenerbahçe supporters. Same for Galatasaray. 15 millon for Beşiktaş..the population is almost 80 million in Turkey.if u add Turki republics in middle Asia and the Turkish population in Europe, the number becomes higher.. The thing that is different from European clubs, Turkey almost divided to 3 big clubs. Very small amount supports their home city teams. The mental is high. So the greater power and budget comes..

I wasn't being disrespectful btw - merely wondering.

When you google for information you can never find a breakdown of revenue and the media income changes from website to website.

Also, hasn't attendances plummeted since the introduction of e-ticketing?

But yes, the commercial side seems alive and well (for now). Thanks for the information.

    You'r welcome.
Actually it is available in Turkish and the reports are published annually in Stock market reports
.Fenerbahçe company is in the Istanbul stock market and because of the law it is reported for the investors. Maybe it is difficult to reach the info ini English. Ask me I can check it for u.
