Travelling to Turkey to me is either going to be decent if we are still running for a place or already through. on the other hand if we are out I would be pretty disappointed that I booked up to go there and we are already out of the completion. Risk you have to take I guess just a * time to go there

 

I think most people who go to the away European games dont really care though, for most Fenerbahce will be getting to go to a new stadium to a team we've never played before and first ever visit to Turkey as a Celtic fan.

Winning games is only a bonus after all we lose almost all the time anyway. They will still enjoy a swally with pals/fellow tims and night out or three depending on how long they're going for.

 

Each to their own. Great if we are through or playing to go through, but it will be an superb trip even if we are out. Celtic playing in Turkey has been a long awaited experience for many, including me.

 

Some * telling folk they aren't proper fans. That always goes well

 

I dunno, it would be a strange thing for a fan of any club to say they didn`t care if their team won or not.
I know several guys who used to go to euro away games regularly for whom the banter and swally was no longer compensating for the constant defeats. Its the main reason our away support has dropped in recent years.

 

We don't care if we win lose or draw

 

Really looking forward to this now.

Hopefully Celtic are smart with the pricing for the Molde home game (6pm kick off) only one I think I can make.

Went by a Fenerbache social club in Dalston yesterday, that's me sorted..

 

I am a full-time nudist, me and a few of my colony will be coming over for the game. Although we dont wear any clothing we will be painting our top halves in green and white horizontal stripes. Would the people of Turkey and Istanbul welcome us with open arms?

Whenever u come to Turkey u r welcomed. And whether u r out for running a place or not, seeing Istanbul is a real experience. History, bosphorus, nite life.. Plus playing a tension game... It worth all it takes

 

İstanbul is a touristic city of 17 million citizens. Everyday more than 3 million local and international tourists visit there. So other times in the perspective I underlined before will be a joyful trip for any1.

I never said we dont care if we win, said dont care if we're already out and if the games turn out meaningless. Away trips are more about the trip and the fun than the actual match, especially as we always lose anyway, i've been to 8 and we've lost every game :smiley-laughing002: but its never affected the trips which have all been good.

Afterall who would pay £300-500 just to go to a match.

 

Neither would i but it's far too close to Christmas etc to be throwing that sort of money about for nothing

Always wanted to go aswell I think ill leave it to see where we stand would have been better to get it earlier in the group
