How do we feel about this competition then? I honestly couldn’t care if we’re in it or not, would rather have 100% focus on the league. I would totally understand if the stadium is half empty like it has been previously in this competition.

9 is the most important but as a club we need European football. Its a key factor in drawing players to the club (although given our recruitment I'm starting to question the point). Without European football we'll soon be back to partial stand closures.

I think it's the right thing for the support not to back this tournament. Absolute no disrespect to the tournament, think as a club we should be able to go far in it. But this board have shafted the fans long enough that the Europa will just be a chance to grab a few quid for them. Better to send a signal and have the stadium empty to force their hands.

This is our level,we need to do well and and try get a good European run going.
Ok the money is * compared to CL but its money we cant afford to turn down and while its not CL if we got a good run and (if possible beat a few good teams)we can hopefully build some kind of reputation in Europe as a decent team and not a team others hope to be drawn against.
A lot of people are hurting tonight(me included)but when the dust settles i think most will agree EL is our level of football and the place where we have a better chance of success.Lilac Wine likes this. -

I would rather we fail to qualify, you may wonder why.
I like this competition I really do but, we clearly lack quality already and having to play extra games will cost us the league.
