    The central defence is dreadful in my opinion Smalling is still suspect and so is Cahill. And the whole backline can be exposed. Central midfield is not anything special whatsoever either..

    Alli and going forward they look very dangerous, or did at least last night..

    Spain, the French at home and tournament Germany are still some way ahead of these when it starts..

    Germany have been poor since winning the world cup, thought right away last night there players didn't look up for it. That game mattered more to engerland last night.

    Forget who they come up against on an individual basis anyway, you could pick a quality defence on paper but they won't go with that because you need experience and leadership and that's what Evra and Sakho give.

    On paper;

    Loris, Mathieu, Zouma, Varane, Sagna protected by Kante isn't half bad.

    It ain't half bad but it's nothing spectacular.

    Mind you, as I said, a lot of the top teams aren't great defensively so hopefully that will make for a tournament with plenty of goals.

    Really looking forward to it.

    Let's not forget that this is a Germany team that lost to Ireland and USA last year and drew with Australia, Scotland also could and should have taken something from them in Germany but when the tournament kicks off the mentality completely changes. Still don't think this England is anywhere near winning a major championship, young squad with potential but nothing more. They can however build this core of players into a contender in 4 to 6 years.
