I say these players were leaving anyway. Nothing so with Rodgers.
They probably home sick or just want leave Glasgow.

OUT: Fasan, Blackett, Ambrose, Armstrong, GMS, Commons, Forrest, Cole, Cifti, Scepovic.

keep as back up: Boyata, Mulgrew, Gordon (I'd like to see Bailley get a chance), Izzy, Janko (pace is unreal), Johansen, CKR (theres a player in there IMO)

    Loan out: Chrisite, Allan, McGregor.

Why would you loan out McGregor can i ask? he's already been out and had a successful spell down south and was one of our most effective performers in the last few months.

I'd get rid of these instantly:

    Ambrose, GMS, CKR, Cole, Ciftci

I'd also get rid of Blackett and Scepovic who won't be returning anyway. I'd permanently let Fisher and O'Connell go as well.

A few guys need to prove their worth very soon such as Armstrong, Allan, Boyata and probably McGregor as well.

I think that is harsh. McGregor was probably our best central midfielder last season.

I still think he has alot to learn, but its basically an assumption that Rodgers will sign another mid for that position but will look develop him further.

I had totally written him off in the early part of last season when he was played out wide, then once he got a run at CM he was a revelation. I'd have him starting just now and I think Rodgers man-management could really benefit him

Yeah he came on to a game but I'm still not convinced by him at all. Still probably useful to keep him around.

I think when he got moved to a central role, he was very good for us, and also very consistent. I think it's guys like Bitton, Brown & Johansen who need to convince that they are worthy of a start. McGregor was far better than all of them last season.

Yeah McGregor was excellent when he got a run in the middle. Neat and tidy, mobile, offers a goal threat, works hard. There's a lot to like about him.

If only, eh? All of those guys have at least a year left on their deals. Unless someone is willing to take them, or we're willing to pay them to * off we're stuck with them.

As * as Ambrose is Im sure there is a club out there who will take a Nigerian international with european experience(as they see it). If we cant sell Ciftci then another loan could be on the cards. Cole by all accounts is being released, Forrest should definitely get a move down to a championship team, GMS could still have a part to play. CKR is going to Brazil, Izzaguirre will get a move to Toronto if he wants it, Rogic, Johansen and Bitton could all be gone to if we get decent offers. Fisher will be released and Stokes will need to prove himself. Commons could well be away to. Big big summer ahead.

Hopefully we can go a bit daft in the transfer window, making sure all the players coming in are gonna be the right fit for the club and can all play to a high standard.

We could shift on 10 players without too much bother. It's a risky move, but if we're mainly for sticking to the uk for signings, couple from abroad, it's worth going a bit daft so we can try and be harder to beat in Europe.

Pretty much agree with all that. Except I don't rate GMS and rather he be gone and give better younger players like Christie or Nesbitt a game.
Thinks its time for Stokes to go. He's been here too long to still have something to prove.
To be honest, except from Giffiths, Tierney and Erik if we get decent offers for any other player, I would be happy to do business. Time for a fresh change.

On board with that 100%. I'd add guys like Christie, Brown, Henderson, and maybe Gordon to that.

I know our season was poor, but you're on the wind up. I've read a couple of your posts and I can only come to that conclusion. :bbpd:

Dont thin our clear out will be as big as we hoped.
no one will just walk away from contracts, its going to cost celtic.
im thinking it will be...3or 4 out and maybe 2 in.
