[Cross Platform] The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim

The theme wasn't my cup of tea tbh but that changed though when i tried oblivion (the last game in the franchise) and honestly it ranks in my top 3 no doubt about it.

It's really one of the coolest games around and offers so much in return for your £40. You don't often get games that are value for money especially with the amount of yearly update games such as fifa and the call of duty series. Give it a 3-5 day rent mate and i bet you will buy it with no hesitation, but not only that you will then pick up fallout 3 and oblivion and perhaps some of the older ones on PC. :icon_mrgreen:

 

best game ever! but aye I literally freeze with fear at giant spiders, the normal small ones arent bad.

 

I'm now at 28 hours and i think i have only done about 4 main story missions. I still can't decide whether to join the imperials or the rebellion though.

 

I've went back to fifa, still got loads of missions to do mabey another 30... Off all day tomorrow so will have a good we day of skyrim

 

I'm 36 hours in and still havn't even done the first main dragon lol

I'm also torn between imperials and the rebs.. I am an imperial so i might side with them, gah i don't know. Having loads of fun doing other stuff just now and clearing some misc quests. Then i still have 90% of the DB to do and likewise for the thief's. * thinking about it i might still be faffing around till late next year ha

Is that the one the Dark Brotherhood give you?Was in the older game.Werewolf is fun,kicked a bears * for a change.Also had a fist fight with a Mud Crab,crab was kicking my * so i cut him in half with my axe.

 

I spent 20 mins coming up with a plan of attack to topple 2 giants then the 2 accompanying mammoths (needed their tusks for a misc quest) so i thought i'd use some magic then finish them off with arrows.

I got 1 shot in and literally got flung all over Skyrim.. Eventually found that if you get them to chase you and then find cover under a bridge they can't get you. Took me so long to kill the 4 though.

easy way to get smithing to 100, allowing you to get the best armor, swords, bows etc

 

I really need to get this man I keep tellin myself to grab it but forget to when I'm out.

Then I get back in the house, jump on TC and see this thread with you lot talking about how good it is.

 

Killing the jester was sooooo satisfying.

 

I let him live :icon_mrgreen: mainly because i had used a power that brings back lahance (sp?) and h kept harking on about it being wrong.

 

should have let him live mate, he is one badass companion

Was raging after playing this last night, some dragon appeared inside the city of riften and started killing everyone, then it started popping up on screen that id failed all these missions id never heard of cause he was killing the people i would get the missions from.


Was funny, but pretty raging lol

 

I've only got misc missions left quite sad now lol

 

Yeah so ive heard but i couldn't help it, annoyed the * out of me.

If you let him live will that ruin things with astrid ?

 

apparently you can play through as a different race etc and its like a new game. (taking this from gamer nerds though, may not be the same for us guys)

 

Lads I highly recommend ranking up and getting daedric armour and weapons. Took me about 12 hours, the satisfaction after was insane. The daedric mace improved twice has like 50+ damage.
